Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, February 25, 2025

Despite a fresh rant by Democratic strategist James Carville that the Trump administration will collapse in the next month, a new poll by Harvard CAPS/Harris released Feb. 24 is nothing short of devastating for the Democrats. Not only that, but the survey shows widespread support for Trump's DOGE efforts, which have been the subject of so much partisan opposition. But does DOGE really cut along party lines? Let's take a look at the poll and find out.

DOGE Is Very Popular With Americans, New Poll Finds

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if a survey showed 50% of Americans support taking a kick in the face, so long as they thought that would make Trump happy.

I see what you're saying, but the problem is you, like JPW, like to call the majority of the country stupid. For now, I'm on the side that wants the spending reduced in order to bring some resemblance of integrity back. If Trump can't do that, I'll admit I was wrong.

LauraMohr does that lot, attacking the messenger.

Instead of evaluating the message (i.e., here, that the majority of the US supports Doge, per the Harvard/Harris poll).

To be fair, I don't think DOGE has done anything.

Sure there's been lots of announcement, but I haven't seen proof of the effectiveness of DOGE.

Right now its all smoke and mirrors.

Many Americans are ignorant. Many Americans are hateful. That's why they support DOGE

When is President Leon going to take a look at Defense, the heart of the military-industrial-congressional complex that bleeds and sucks this nation dry?

(It's a rhetorical question.)

Shhhh!

Herr Musk gets $8 million a day from those people. It's not like he's going to bite the hand that feeds him.
