How has it come to this? How could we possibly think this kid is qualified to lead the nations counter-terror efforts??

How has it come to this?

Trump has no intention of combating domestic terrorism, thems his people, so he hired somebody that won't be able to get anything accomplished.

I wish I could wrap my head around the thought process for hiring someone so young and naive with no world experience and no relevant work experience to an office SO Important.

It's like injecting crops with rot then wondering aloud about what made them all rot.

It's just like why he hires a wrestle lady to choke out our Education Dept

But how does he not see the down side?

When there is another domestic terroir attack, it will rightfully fall at the feet of this idiot and his complete lack any meaningful experience.

God, I can't even type that without sighing. No, he'll successfully blame someone or something else

The domestic terrorists are mostly the militias, the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, white supremacist biker gangs... all people that Trump pardoned for trying to overthrow our election in 2021. Maybe Nazi Steve will tell this young grad to focus on Antifa or some other invisible/tiny target, he'll have them bring up BS charges against people just like he's been doing with what he calls "immigration"

All his appointments are Loyalists he is sure will lie for him when necessary, and break the law for him they have to. He was determined not to have another fiasco like when his entire DOJ said they would resign rather than break the law for him.

Once burned, twice shy.

It's not really hard to figure out; ask yourself, "what would Putin want me to do?"
There's your answer.

I guess mowing neighbors' lawns is enough to quality someone to prevent us from domestic terrorism.
