Is Florida's Ron DeSantis the Worst Governor in America?

Florida may lose $218 million after a judge ordered "Alligator Alcatraz" closed. The Florida Division of Emergency Management will lose most of the value of the $218 million it has invested in cobbling the airport into a jungle gulag. Hurricane-prone Florida could have used that money much more wisely.

The Sunshine State executed its eleventh prisoner of the year, leading the US in this abhorrent practice.

Dangerous safety issues plague the St Lucie nuclear power plant.

Floridians' electric rates may increase by billions of dollars over the next four years.

Florida's waters are getting more polluted, fueling algae blooms and wreaking environmental havoc.

In an average year, 3,108 people die and 6,358 are wounded by guns in Florida. This exceeds the total number of US military deaths in Afghanistan over a span of 20 years: 7 Oct 2001 to 30 Aug 2021 (2,459 total deaths; 1,922 had been KIA).
