Internal discussions are exploring trimming the US Army to between 360,000 and 420,000 troops, down from its current level of roughly 450,000. The potential cuts would mark one of the most dramatic force reductions in years ... More importantly, the US Army has effectively been the quarterback in bolstering NATO's front lines amid Russian President Vladimir Putin's on-going offensive of Ukraine.

just another sign of how the parties have flipped since the 90's. The GOP is cutting military spending and the Dems are pissed that they cannot keep the nation in a state of forever war. You Dems should be embarrassed - you now represent everything that you used to hate.

Well, Trump has been pretty consistent in one way, I have I don't have to wonder if any of his appointments are good for the country...they ain't.
Even if we survive Trump's second term, and he is really not able to run for a third...we will be much, much weaker as a world power, and many of our alliances will be in pieces.

Whenever the military talks about cutting troop size... they mean they are outsourcing to private contractors who exploit a third world's workforce. That way... the US doesn't have to care for the casualties in perpetuity.

Capitalism is dependent on slave labor.
