Amazon to Display Tariff Costs for Consumers
"Amazon doesn't want to shoulder the blame for the cost of President Donald Trump's trade war," Punchbowl News reports. "So the e-commerce giant will soon show how much Trump's tariffs are adding to the price of each product."

Aaron Rupar @atrupar.com REPORTER: Amazon will soon display a number next to the price of each product that shows how much the Trump tariffs are adding. Isn't that a perfect demonstration that it's the American consumer who is paying for these policies?
LEAVITT: This is a hostile and political act by Amazon.

In the confrontational interview with reporter Terry Moran, the president doubled down on his China trade war plan, claiming the Chinese will "eat those tariffs," when it is widely acknowledged that price hikes will be passed on to American consumers.
China is going to eat those tariffs like Mexico paid for the wall.

We can never thank Republican voters enough for sending the US towards another Great Depression. But don't worry, Felon Musk, Scott Bessent, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Bill Maher, Joe Rogaine, and the other well-paid junta members and Congressmen will be fine.
'In 1929 or 1930, Vaudeville comedian Eddie Cantor, who lost most of his money in the Wall Street Crash, joked that when he requested a 19th-floor room at a NYC hotel, the clerk asked him: "What for? Sleeping or jumping?"

The big question is why the White House would get their panties in a wad over tariffs if USans were supportive of them?
If people were fans of Tariffs, wouldn't they be thanking Amazon?
One must only conclude that USans aren't fanbois of paying more for stuff.

I'm all for busting out the prices. Makes it easier for those who want to choose brands mostly originating here. I think it would be great if each product had an offshore score.
While Mr. Bezos is at it maybe he could break out how much from each product goes into his toy rockets and spaceships.

I'm no fan of tariffs ... .. but I do think it is puzzling how so many folks thought increasing corporate income taxes wasn't going to jack up prices Did they really think Walmart and Amazon were just going to suck it up and cut profits?

What? Corporations got healthy tax CUTS during Trump's first term.
They spent their savings on stock buybacks instead of investing in new American facilities or raising wages to proper levels.
