"The picture of the world's richest man killing the world's poorest children is not a pretty one," the Microsoft founder and billionaire told the Financial Times. Musk, CEO of electric automaker Tesla, spearheaded the efforts by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to slash federal spending, including the shuttering of the foreign aid arm, USAID.

Kind of a stupid argument. Using this logic, EVERY country in the world that doesn't spend money they don't have on this topic is then also killing the world's poorest children.

But yeah, America bad. Dems have gone so far off the deep end that it's no wonder they are fighting their own now. The fact that moderate liberals haven't broken away from them is amazing. It happened to Reps and the Tea Party came along and disrupted things that caused the Rep party to swing back moderate. Unfortunately, it was right after that the Dems became extreme but, so far, there hasn't been a correction back to moderate. And, because of that, a guy like Trump is able to be elected not once but freaking twice.

You have no idea what USAID does.
In my Epidemiology class in grad school one of the guest lecturers worked for USAID fighting Bird Flu in Southeast Asia.
You can't possibly conceive how that fighting bird flu benefits the United States, can you?
Even on the tail end of eggs at eight bucks a dozen, you're too dumb to figure it out!
