ALABAMA: Leonardo Garcia Venegas is an American Citizen. He had a "Real ID". It didn't matter -- because to Trump's American Gestapo, brown is brown.

Ice Detains U.S. Citizen Claiming His Real ID was Fake

What does this bode for those of use carrying Fake ID?

We should probably detain these ICE agents, and waterboard them until they tell us who ordered them to arrest this US citizen.

And thank God it was discovered BEFORE he was sent off to third world hell-hole.

I hope Mr Venegas sues the Federal Government for illegally detaining him and denying him his freedom of press.

The White House needs to answer the question of how close this American born citizen came to being shipped to a secret prison in a foreign country where from which there is no return. What if he had refused to provide his social security number, which is not legally required to do? Would he have received due process or would Trump have just sent him away?

Where did you "read" it ?

He was at work and started filming the abductions, according to the article, when he was assaulted and thrown to the ground.

That's what I read in the article.

Evil people do not like it when the light is shined on them in the midst of their evil acts.

" The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement to NBC News that Garcia interfered with an arrest during a targeted worksite operation.

"He physically got in between agents and the subject they were attempting to arrest and refused to comply with numerous verbal commands," said Tricia McLaughlin, DHS assistant secretary. "Anyone who actively obstructs law enforcement in the performance of their sworn duties, including U.S. citizens, will of course face consequences which include arrest."

I feel like they said that about Rodney King and Eric Garner.

What's the name of the guy they shot in the hotel room as police were giving him contradictory orders, and the cop who killed him is collecting disability for PTSD he gave himself by killing him?

"I'd like to see that as well."

What you should want to see is how they determined his ID was fake.

Since you believe in different rights for citizens, what's to stop them from deciding your ID is fake?

Good luck getting that from Homeland Security.

You will probably have to get the Supreme Court to force them to "facilitate" its release. Especially if it contains evidence incriminating or refuting HS.

You would probably have better luck getting the unredacted Epstein Files released.

We can't even get this administration to tell us who is actually in charge of DOGE.
