Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, June 06, 2025

The surgeons and dermatologists who treat the DC power class will never share their patients' secrets; some doctors strategically time surgeries during congressional recess, and many go out of their way to make sure their clients aren't even seen entering the office, using a spy-movie-like web of hidden entries and secret back doors. But they will also tell you that, among the political power set, jaws are currently hot. "Strong jawlines and prominent chins are de rigueur in Washington," says Dr. Tina Alster, a dermatologist who treats high-powered patients at her K Street practice. In the past couple of years, she says, the portion of her male clients who come in seeking well-defined jaws has more than doubled, from about 20% to 50%.

This is now required as the low-T liberals are unable to have a jawline naturally.

Ridiculous, but I have to say, over the years I noticed that a common characteristic of pedophiles is a weak recessive chin. I always wondered why. Look at any sexual predator registry website and see if you agree.

"When former Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz unveiled what seemed like an entirely new face last year, dermatologists described every suspected procedure on TikTok and the tabloids."

And just like that.

Republicans found themselves in favor of Gender Affirming Care.

Oh puhleeze!!!! Don Trumpanzee jr and JD Vancypants grew beards to achieve the same effect.

It's what guys do... if they aren't hiding their double chin... they are hiding their weak chin...

Then there is the "age reassignment beard" they grow during mid-life crisis

@#3 ... When former Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz unveiled what seemed like an entirely new face last year ....

That new face bordered on humorous, imo.

But this new plastic surgery trend seems to be men wanting to ~man-up~ in a MAGA manner.

So, being buds with Mr Epstein, as Pres Trump seems to have done, is an example of such "manning-up?"

And I have to ask, why does VP Vance seem to feel the need to hide his chin under a beard? What might he be ashamed of?

Are you implying the "beard" he married isn't achieving the desired results?

@#6 ... Are you implying the "beard" ...

I'm implying nothing.

In #5, I only ask a question. ...

Is this a strong chin by MAGA standards?

Vance, pre-MAGA and in his 'Never Trump' years suffered from low-T brought on by obesity. This is a good tip for all you fat liberals on this site that are increasingly taking on female characteristics. Your diet and obesity (which implies lack of physical activity) has destroyed your T-levels and has given you a female body and mindset. Some of you embrace it - like Laura Mohr. Most of you did not intend for this to happen. So, fix your diet, increase your exercise, and if you must - take TRT. The only negative side effect for you is becoming more masculine, independent, economically successful, and MAGA.

That looks to be a correct assessment.

I had overlooked the "double-chin" aspect.

Yeah, I also thought that VP Vance looked, I'll say, out of character back then.

Maybe that is why he decided to grow the beard?

I've not a clue.

But, thanks to whomever for the apropos flag.

Appreciated. :)

The insecurities of these "men" is, at once, sad and hilarious. The most sadly and bigly hilarious is, of course, Trump himself, the Liberace of Pennsylvania Avenue.

A scraggy, Grand Canyon burro crotchish beard and some meticulously applied Clinique eyeliner made me the he-mannish man I am, I am.

That's, I guess unintentionally, just freaking hilarious.

On another note, a man has to be a special kind of p()ssy to get jaw enhancement surgery.

And all that blather about JD Vance in his never-Trump years ... how much of a cover story do these people need to invent?

I grow a beard because it's natural. It's what god gave me. Also I am retired so it is easy. I no longer have to conform to society's idea of what is acceptable or how I "should" look. I look like what nature intended that I look like. I am a big hairy monkey man and that's the way it is. Take it or leave it. (I prefer you mostly leave it lately).

Getting surgery for a jaw that makes someone look like they wanna feel inside is not much different from why a trans person would have surgery to make them look like they feel inside. Same for getting a bigger butt or bigger boobs or a facelift, etc.

It's hypocritical to approve of one type of plastic/cosmetic surgery (for whatever reason) but not the other.
