Trump's Epstein problem is real: New poll shows many in his base disapprove of his handling of the files, and some supporters are having second thoughts about electing him.

Of course, it is looking more and more like a cover-up with each passing information release.

But, why the apparent need for a cover-up?

You have to ask?????

The public has already put 2 + 2 together. And they don't like the answer.

Right now, Trump is just trying to run out the clock.

However, (thinking ahead) if revealed, it's likely to become cause for Trump's impeachment, among other sleaze ball illegalities if and when he becomes a civilian.

@#2 ... You have to ask????? ..

Yeah, I do.

I want the DoJ to release all of the files.

Not dribs and dras of the files, but all of them.

The only redaction I would expect to see would be the names and identification info about the victims.

The DoJ seems to be trying to cover up something.

What might they be trying to cover up?

From the cited article ...

... A number of journalists, pointing to recent public opinion polls, have claimed that the scandal has hurt Trump. Others have argued that the public has largely moved on and the Epstein controversy no longer presents a political liability for Trump.

But both of these conclusions are based on limited polling about the Epstein controversy and thus may be premature. ...

(yeah, I read the cited article, did you?)

I agree. But, other than bitter complaints to our State Senators and Representatives, (and the media) the only REAL voice we have that will make a difference will be in the honest midterms.

And we all know that Trump is doing everything in his power to juryrig that.

We're sort of caught in a political vice of Trump's making. The public has to REBEL, en masse, and vote the GOP bums and Trump coat-tailers out of office. It's the only way to break the vice before the 2028 general.

Whether pedophilia, or support of a pedophile, will do the trick or not is up in the air.

All we can do is VOTE and HOPE that this time Trump has crossed the Rubicon.

among 2024 Trump voters, negative views of Trump's handling of the Epstein files are associated with an increased desire to make a different choice if the 2024 election could be rerun.

More specifically, among Trump voters who believe that the president has mishandled the release of the Epstein files, more than one quarter " 26% " indicate that they would not vote for Trump if they had the opportunity to vote again in the 2024 election.

Such lies the MAGATs tell themselves so they can sleep at night.

They hitched their wagon to a clearly traitorous, racist, perverted, adjudicated rapist and now they want to pretend they had no idea.

And they'd vote for him again, because they somehow found the alternative to be less suited for the office.

Biden had every opportunity to sink everyone involved with this but he elected to ignore it. If it's in fact a coverup, it would be one that a lot of people, including Biden the DOJ, FBI and maybe even the secret service, decided to cover it up.

You clowns want single point contact with President Trump after the fact, so you don't have to criticize dear Sniffer-In-Chief. Raetards....

lfthndtard spent three years calling every lib on the DR a "pedo", and now his dear leader is about to pardon a convicted child sex trafficker.

And all he can say about it is "Biden"

Just STFU, retard. Nobody wants to hear you support convicted felons and child sex traffickers. Fuck off to Patriot Front or wherever your ilk congregate and tell them your bull sheeot.

AI Overview
+1
A federal judge has blocked the public release of interviews between Ghislaine Maxwell and the Trump administration, citing a lack of new information regarding Epstein's or Maxwell's crimes and a need to protect the secrecy of the grand jury system. U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer ruled that the materials were not "demonstrably false" in their claim of providing new insights, but were instead "redundant" and would not contribute to transparency. Maxwell had opposed the unsealing, and the decision upholds the protection of secrecy essential for grand juries to function effectively.

AI Overview

. The interviews from July 2025 were released by the Justice Department on August 22, 2025, in the form of transcripts and audio recordings.
