... Housing prices in Florida jumped more than 50% during the pandemic, and while they've leveled off since, they remain well above pre-2020 levels, according to Newsweek.

Property taxes have continued to rise, and Florida now ranks near the bottom for affordability -- 49th out of 50, according to WalletHub.

It's a ---- hole State.

About 45% say they're living paycheck to paycheck and no longer believe the American Dream -- especially homeownership -- is within reach.

Quite simply Government spending is eroding value of their work. This is true across the country, affordability everywhere is rapidly falling as "transitory" inflation continues.

M2 is at another high, last time it triggered inflation.

Doubtful.

The word "exodus is thrown around a lot despite the movements being nowhere near that level.

And we're starting to see the initial trends of movement into states like FL and TX reverse themselves as people who moved there find it's not what they were sold.

Agreed.

Yeah, it is that "find it's not what they were sold" aspect that seems to be the concern.

They were sold, "no income tax."

But then the found themselves to be faced with property taxes ans insurance costs.

My guess is that the latter were not mentioned in the sales pitch to buy property in Florida.

But then, the sales pitches to buy property in Florida have always been so honest.

Hey, if idiots elect a human caused global warming denier, they have to expect losing a lot of the coastline,, expect more and more deadly storms taking apart homes...you have to expect more social unrest as the poor understand it is all a game, and the game is rigged so they lose, and if they are Black or Brown, they have to expect a uniformed someone pointing a weapon at them sooner or later.

The West is the Best. Looked out my window. Blue skies. Short sleeve shirts. About 65 degrees. Perfect November day in the Sunshine State. Maybe I'll take my dog for a walk in the nearby canyons.

The ballroom is being by Trum[ and private donors.

Other ones there were privately funded:

FDR's Indoor Swimming Pool (1933): This pool, located in the West Terrace, was financed by the "Roosevelt Swimming Pool Fund" established by the New York Daily News, which raised money through private donations, including pennies from schoolchildren, for the president's polio therapy. It was later covered and converted into the White House Press Briefing Room under Richard Nixon

Ford's Outdoor Swimming Pool (1975): President Gerald Ford, an avid swimmer, had an outdoor pool installed on the South Lawn, which was also financed by private donations.

-------------, pedo 47 just pissed away $40 billion on Argentina.

#15 All of those "privately funded" projects were all carried out under the rules and regulations governing the White House and its improvements and maintenance.

The Trump got a wild hair up his rear orifice and just ordered it destroyed.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

You're not too smart, are you?

The 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution has done nothing for the United States of America.

Absolutely nothing.

#16 $40,000,000,000.00 to Argentina:

Then there is the little issue that Trump has mandated US banks to provide Argentina another 20 billion in loans. However, thus far banks have refused unless the US government guarantees the loans.

In other words, we, the taxpayer could be on the hook for 40 billion. That madame, is highly likely since Argentina has reneged 20 times on IMF loans since the 1950s.
