It's lucky that they haven't quite begun killing people visiting their families as they've already started killing them in boats.

Come on. It's far from being snark. The point these Trump Nazis want to prove is the same one that Trump himself wants to prove:

That he doesn't have to listen to any court order, any laws, and will do anything he damned well pleases.

ICE should make sure her family in Texas is legit too.

She had a removal order since 2015? ,What came up today that changed this removal order? the fact that she was bring removed? LOL

idk why judges don't block all removal orders.

Why not make it ridiculously expensive for the Executive branch to deport people.

What has happened to the Judge finding ICE agents and it's leadership 'in contempt of Court'?

#5 | Posted by Wardog at 2025-11-30 08:50 AM | Reply

Re 5

There are two separate prominent contempt-of-court situations involving ICE agents and judges in 2025: one in Boston where the charge was dismissed, and ongoing proceedings in Washington D.C. where the judge is continuing a probe into alleged defiance of his orders.

In the Boston case:
The U.S. Attorney argued that the Supremacy Clause immunizes federal officers from state court prosecution for actions taken in their official duties.

In DC the proceedings are moving forward after an appeals court lifted a hold that had been in place.

Judge Boasberg has indicated he will proceed with the remaining aspects of the contempt probe to determine who gave the orders to defy his ruling and whether officials deliberately misled the court. He plans to take sworn testimony from current and former officials.

Stay tuned..

"She had a removal order since 2015? "

This statement came from ICE and you believe it without question?

What a Commie Spyboy thing to do.

Has that ICE statement been verified by at least 2 RELIABLE sources?

No? Then it's most likely a lie.

Her attorney has also said the documents he has said her case was closed in 2017.

Regardless it was a violation of a court order. Another illegal order by ICE.

"Why not make it ridiculously expensive for the Executive branch to deport people."

Welcome to America.

Freedom is not free and always needs defending from haters, traitors, Commies and Spyboys like you.

"This statement came from ICE and you believe it without question?"

Is or is not ICE enforcing US immigration policy? Is it your opinion that they should not be enforcing policy, because that's what it sounds like.

My observation is that a lot of people this country really could use have been deported, and that sucks, but this is a nation of laws. I don't care what the law is, but whatever it is, it needs to be enforced. Even if a judge states that a person without authorization to be in the US can't be deported, then what. They're still here illegally. That doesn't change. It's no different than if someone at passport control at a border entry decided to waive someone through who didn't have valid entry credentials.

I live in Germany under a special status. I must do things to maintain that status. If at any time, Germany could elect to terminate this status, and I'd have 90 days to leave the country. If I were arrested at 91 days and deported, no one in Germany would bat an eyelash. I'm not sure why it is so controversial in the US, other than some weird form of tribalism.

More My country,Right or Wrong, BS from MB.

Bad laws should be Ignored. Just because something is legal isn't enough.

Slavery was legal, Genocide was legal in Germany in the 1940s,they were the "law of the land".

Trying to stop the Murders of Jews was a Capitol offense in Germany. Should that law have been Enforced? The people who Enforced it got executed by the Allies for Upholding the "Law".

Many Laws are not worthy of Notice, much less enforcement.

This is such a hilarious statement, coming from anyone that believed "anon sources" to base an opinion on anyone.

But let me explain, until a transcript is produced about the proceedings and/or unless her lawyer says otherwise, I would consider it truthful.

IOW No one but idiots are claiming its possibly incorrect.

I have a question for those who are cheerleading on the Quota-based law enforcement. Do you think this will only affect immigration in the long term and that it won't come back to bite you?

#24 | Posted by sentinel at 2025-12-01 09:20 AM | Reply

#24 You mean Quota-based law enforcement, like this:

President Trump's administration has set a goal of arresting 3,000 undocumented immigrants per day to fulfill his mass deportation promises, a target confirmed by White House adviser Stephen Miller

Sounds like Quota-based law enforcement

Exactly. Anyone who thinks this won't be expanded to U.S. Citizens on various issues is deluding themselves.

For as long as I've been alive it's been at least a two-tiered system with "justice" for some and not for others. However, we at least played at being a nation of laws.

But not anymore.

Now our "justice system" is a tool for suppression and personal revenge with the goal of the entrenchment and enrichment of an extremely small circle of sociopaths and psychopaths.

When people in this administration actually suffer consequences for this debacle I will believe we are a nation of laws again.

"And? The Judge is the law when that Order is issued."

I'm still not clear. Does that mean judges have the right to determine who can legally reside in the US?

Typically, there is a process for gaining tourist status or residency, and a much more extensive process for citizenship. Does this mean a judge can waive all those requirements?

Can you tell me what the status of an illegal immigrant becomes when a judge says they can't be deported?

"Can you tell me what the status of an illegal immigrant becomes when a judge says they can't be deported?"

That is a very good question. This is where AI shines. So. I took your question and put it to AI.

And as you can see it's not a simple answer. And depends on many variables.

AI Overview

+4
If an immigration judge says a person cannot be deported, their legal status changes depending on the reason the case was terminated. If the judge grants relief like asylum or adjusts their status to lawful permanent residence, they become legal. If the government fails to meet its burden of proof, the case may be terminated without prejudice, but this doesn't grant legal status and they could be put into removal proceedings again.

Possible outcomes and status changes

Case termination: The case is ended. The individual is no longer in removal proceedings, but this does not grant legal status by itself.

Adjusting status: The individual may be able to adjust their status to a lawful permanent resident (green card holder) through a family member or employer.

Asylum or other relief: The individual may be granted protection from deportation through asylum or other forms of relief, which can lead to permanent residency after a certain period.

Stay of removal: In some cases, even if a final removal order is issued, the government might grant a "stay of removal" for humanitarian reasons. This is not the same as legal status, but it allows the person to remain in the U.S. and may come with a work permit and an order of supervision.

Potential for re-initiation: If the judge's termination is "without prejudice," the government can file a new "Notice to Appear" and start a second attempt at removal.
