A conservative lawyer issued a blistering takedown of President Donald Trump's attempt to prosecute six Democratic members of Congress.

Don't expect for a minute that a blue wave is coming to save us for the midterms. Trump and the GOP are doing everything they can to rig the election, and they no doubt have the continued illegal help of Russia. Trump attempted a coup already, and now he's got more power and a thirst for vengeance.

"The president will be impeached promptly if Democrats retake control of the House after the November midterms, an outcome his abuses of power have also made highly likely," McCarthy wrote in a column published in the National Review Wednesday.

"That will be the legacy of yesterday's reported failed attempt by the Trump Justice Department to criminally charge the Seditious Six,' as the Democrats in question were labeled by Trump supporters."

McCarthy personally characterized Trump's attacks on the six Democrats as "intolerable" and "impeachable."

He wrote that there was "no plausible justification for the proposed indictment" against Sens. Mark Kelly (Ariz.) and Elissa Slotkin (Mich.) and Reps. Jason Crow (Colo.), Maggie Goodlander (N.H.), Chrissy Houlahan (Pa.) and Chris Deluzio (Pa.)."

Fox suspects that Trump could be toppled and is hedging its bets. Again. They did this same thing prior to Biden being elected.

But, yes, the man is entirely right. If there ever was a human being who needed to be forcibly thrown out of office more than Donald Trump, I don't know about him.

Eventually Lincoln would suspend habeas corpus across the entire North and arrest tens of thousands of citizens without charges or trial.

Really, they just suck up to whatever nonsense their Cult Leader tells them to suck up to.

Lincoln tops presidential rankings; Trump records most poor' marks: Poll
thehill.com

... Americans overwhelmingly view former President Abraham Lincoln as an "outstanding" leader, while President Trump ranks near the bottom, according to a new poll.

The YouGov survey, released Friday, found that 74 percent of U.S. voters collectively rank Lincoln, known affectionately as Honest Abe, as "outstanding" or "above average." Another 12 percent said he was "average" while 11 percent were unsure. Just 3 percent called the 16th president "below average."

Lincoln was followed by former Presidents John F. Kennedy and George Washington. About 66 percent of respondents ranked Kennedy as "outstanding" or "above average," while 65 percent said the same of the nation's first leader, the poll found.

Less than 4 in 10 respondents, 35 percent, ranked Trump as "outstanding" or "above average." Instead, 54 percent viewed his presidency as "poor" or "below average." Another 9 percent placed him in the "average" category while 2 percent were unsure.

Trump, however, bested former Presidents Biden and Nixon -- who fell at the bottom -- in YouGov's rankings of 20 of the most well-known commanders in chief. ...

I think the problem with DJT is he's of the Merchant caste trying to serve as a monarch.
This is a change from the usual Sycophant professional politicians ascending to would-be monarchists, each leaving behind a dynasty of newly minted Privilege for their heirs.
The only stable government is a monarchy in charge of ONE dynasty, so successive temporary pseudo-kings don't drain our common resources building their mini-dynasties.

Tell us, JOHN. Will your monarchy be a constitutional one, or will your king have the power to rape the kingdom's underaged subjects?

#19 john_savage12 says, "Today's leftists are fighting the Fed as did the Confederates"

Here's a dime, buy a clue:

The Federal Reserve (the "Fed") was founded with the 1913 Federal Reserve Act. This was, of course, 50+ years following the Confederacy.

Also, it should be pointed out that the only one at war with the Fed is Pedodent Trump.

You're welcome.

'the Fed' in this case means 'the Federal government'

The chief difference from the second revolution to the third is:
the confederate states seceded as provided for in the constitution, whereas the leftist modern sanctuary zones instead are using insurrection, which is prohibited.

The second revolution was put down by the Lincoln Dictatorship, and the third will be put down by the DJT Dictatorship.
