Law enforcement shot and killed an armed man outside of President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort Sunday, the Secret Service said. The big picture: The president is in Washington Sunday, though he often travels to Florida over the weekends. Driving the news: The individual, a man in his 20s who has not been named, was spotted by the north gate of the property carrying what the Secret Service said appeared to be a shotgun and a fuel can.

Can MAGA explain to me how this is any different than Capitol Police shooting and killing Ashli Babbitt after she broke into the US Capitol building and then attempted to climb through a shattered window beside a barricaded door into the SECURED House Speaker's Lobby?

Wouldn't you have claimed that this man was a HERO and a Patriot?

Palm Beach County sheriff on man killed at Mar-a-Lago: "At 1:30 this morning, the security detail detected that an individual had made his way into the inner perimeter of Mar-a-Lago ... they confronted a white man that was carrying a gas can and a shotgun. He was ordered to drop them at which time he raised the shotgun. He was neutralized."

The USSS, FBI, Palm Beach PD cannot interview a corpse.

Similarly, the FBI and USSS were unable to debrief the Butler PA would-be assassin because he was dead.

There is much less intelligence value in a cadaver other than exploitation (pocket litter, cell phone, currency, keys, wallet, photos).

This is why it is far better to capture an adversary than kill him.

The Russian police have used non-lethal firearms for years, allowing them to interrogate a suspect after wounding him, like this pistol below.
