This is why Donald Trump is very likely to do something brazenly illegal to stop, suppress, steal the midterms.

We can hope the Trump the Coward shows up in November, like the yellow-belly who dealt with Xi last week.

But I fear that Trump's desperation and megalomania will be what we deal with instead.

Memo to African Americans of voting age: this November may well be the last time you are permitted to vote in this country. Try it out. If enough of you show up and cast ballots, you may be permitted to vote after 2028. You have been warned...

But they won't.

A lot of work has been put into fixing the midterms.

Gerrymandering is only one of the strategies republicans have in play to prevent democracy from taking place.
