Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the Iran war is "over" during congressional testimony on Tuesday, in spite of an admission that negotiations to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and curb Tehran's uranium enrichment are not guaranteed to produce a deal.

Ossoff: "Last week, yet more Americans were wounded in a war nobody voted for & nobody can explain. This war in Iran is worst foreign policy blunder since Iraq, & just like the Iraq war, it's a war built on lies. Let's update the record. On day one Trump said it was running 'ahead of schedule' ... Donald Trump's war with Iran has cost American households $100 billion -- so far. That's nearly $750 per household.

If it's "over," perhaps Lil' Marco will volunteer to plant his butt in the proverbial crow's nest and guide the first oil-laden ship through the Strait of Hormuz. Thanks, pinche Marco, don't trip over those Florsheims on your way out the door.

Let's face it: People like Trump and Rubio must have mystical powers; to will the existence of wars and then will them out again.

I, speaking for myself, am impressed.

I'm not sure what's over.

Did Trump ever acknowledge he started a war with Iran?

Wasn't the whole thing classified as tourism?

This Islamophobic misadventure to help Israel will cost Americans $101bn by the end of the day.

US Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) wants a non-Likud PM to lead Israel, someone who doesn't make the Pariah nation look so bad-- like the odious Benjamin Netanyahu-- while the IDF ethnically cleanses Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

Just ask US Senator Jon Ossoff or his colleague US Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) one simple question and you'll know right away:

"Senator. Is Israel conducting genocide in Gaza and ethnically cleansing the West Bank? Yes or no please, Senator."

"It's really f*&^ing annoying considering it has nothing to do with the actual article."

The article is about the illegal war against Iran which has everything to do with Israel and AIPAC, JPW. Coriolanus may be incessant, and there are killfile options if you stare unbearably annoyed, but he's essentially on the right track.

There is an element in the democrat party (and the left historically) which is PEP (Progressive Except for Palestine).

There are a few here in this site. Censored and A Friend come to mind. When it comes to Israel they magically morph into Zionist AI bots. PEP has helped make the party into a laughing-stock of hypocrisy. It's too bad, because Trump was and still is eminently beatable.

The democrats' greatest weaknesses are their support for Israel and the ever-increasing security state.

#15 What's fun about this is the fact that my Drudge posting history is wide open for anyone to see...

...and what they won't see is any defense of Bibi or his government.

Just like you won't see any defense of Trump or his government.

Bibi =/= Israel is to the exact same degree that Trump =/= America.

What Bibi and his government are doing in Palestine is a war crime...

...just as what Trump and his administration are doing ... in America, Venezuela, Iran, and more are war crimes.

'Tis fun to watch some people squirm their way around those truths.

#14 It would be good if we were on the same team, looking to end Trump and Republican tyranny in America, not on different leagues.

That's the eye on the prize I keep referencing.

I want to see Democrats win overwhelming political power in November, all over this country.

Eye on the prize.

'Tis the first step towards ending Trump and Republican tyranny in America.

Never fear the next generation; at one time we were all the next generation

#17 Only pre-programmed GOP/MAGAt bots mindlessly refer to the Democratic Party as the democrat [sic] party.

If you're going to mindlessly spam, NerfHerder, the minimum should be that you demonstrate that you have at least completed elementary school English and grammar.

If you're going to pretend that you're anything but a pre-programmed GOP/MAGAt bot.

Otherwise, you look like a fool.

"It's a tell, language always gives people away."

Careful with the language of absolutes, Alexandrite. I must be the first MAGA that didn't vote for Trump in 2016 or in 2020, when I voted for that useless idiot Biden.

I do agree, however, with many on the right who refer to it as the "democrat party" because I believe they're not currently democratic. Until they are, or at least make a conscious attempt at being more so, they will do more to harm this country than to help it.

This includes their creepy establishment boomer spam-bots who think they are doing the lord's work but come across as typical fascists in liberal disguise. I have several generations of hardcore, Swiss-born fascist fighters in my bloodline, so it tends to be rather obvious to me.

The spam-bot floods the thread with epimone and duplicate posts in order to feel validated and assured of getting in the last word. Often, in the absence of a reply to its incessant cross-examinations, it will answer its own questions and expose its complete lack of self-awareness.

"PEP" is an apt term for the Januses: Democratic Party in the US/Likud Party in Israel.

If 73,041 Israelis were slaughtered in the Gaza Strip, 20,179 of them children, I would be "incessant" about stopping the killing of those Jews.

The Gaza Strip is an American taxpayer-funded abbatoir which makes "suckers and losers" of us in the US.

Particularly galling is that nuclear-armed Israel is a wealthy country with world class universal healthcare for all of their residents AND Israel gets America to send them free money every year while our military helps kill Muslims for them.

Now the American taxpayer is on the hook for $101bn and even less money for our social safety nets-- never mind just thinking about universal healthcare.
