The partial reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's oil passes, was the principal achievement of the Memorandum of Understanding and a key priority for the United States seeking to avoid a global economic crisis. Now after just a few days, the Iranian military says it's closed again, with Iran citing "relentless and continuous" breaches of the ceasefire in Lebanon by Israel which continues to occupy a large chunk of the south of the country.

Well, Israel did not participate in the negotiations for the memorandum of [mis]understanding, so why sould they abide by it?
