This is going to be the suckiest Fourth of July in my lifetime, and likely in the History of the United States.

I understand that MAGA walked away from Trump's speech yesterday because they could not buy beer, as advertised.

The fences ruin it for me. Not that I'd ever go in this political climate.

The entire point of going downtown D.C. for the fireworks is to hang out on The Mall by the Reflecting Pool. I went enough times in high school to see it "evolve" to the point where the Park Police had to ban students from nearby colleges from bringing couches with them. You'd see frat guys carrying a couch down the street, then leaving it behind after the show.

I don't know how fenced off the Reflecting Pool is going to be, but that's just dumb. Who wants to see newly erected failure fences while celebrating The Land Of The Free? Just an ugly analogy for what Republicans are doing to our nation.

I'm just eternally grateful that the 2024 Democrats didn't squander their incumbency by listening to the millions of antiwar Samaritans, pacifists, progressives, and pro-Palestine volunteers nationwide, securing their crucial 6,265,888 votes on Tuesday 5 Nov 2024 by simply condemning Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza and stopping the US flow of economic and military aid to the ethnic cleansing Israeli Death Forces (IDF).

The 2024 Democrats were Solomonically wise to put the needs of America's population of 336,778,549 Jews, Catholics, Baptists, Muslims, Wiccans, Orthodox Christians, Buddhists, Atheists, Sikhs, and Methodists ahead of the needs of 7,153,000 Israeli Jews.

So, now the Democratic Party gets to enjoy the revelry and economic boost from the FIFA 2026 World Cup, the pomp and and circumstance of America250, and the imminet joy and economic fallout from the 2028 Summer LA Olympiad.

Yes indeed, I'm sure glad the 2024 Democrats had their priorities in order to enjoy all of these once-in-a-lifetime events.

Plus, there would be no ICE secret police terrorizing the American population, the oligarchic locusts would not be unleashed, and no Big Beautiful Bill would be pauperizing us today.
