GOP Rep: “Communist” Dems Should Move to Europe

Congresswoman Lisa McClain (R-MI), who in 2022 lied that Dummkopf Trumpf caught Osama bin Laden, bleated the following nauseating screed:

"For the people in our country, who want to turn this country into a communist country? Leave. You're free to leave. The beauty about America is, you can leave! Go to Europe where they're experiencing this heat wave and they don't have any air conditioning. See how well that works for you! I'm proud to be an American. I respect the flag and I respect the people who made the sacrifice to make this country what it is today. Freedom. Free speech, family faith? Why aren't we celebrating the greatest nation on Earth?"

Why doesn't Lisa McClain want the Jeffrey Epstein files released? Who or what does she want to protect from public scrutiny?

Asking a MAGAt to define terms like "communism" is a fool's errand. It's a shame, because their ignorance and fondness for "alternative facts" makes serious discussion simply impossible. And that's a shame because it mutes what should be the sort of societal discussions that make for a healthy polity.

Progressives claim they want to be more like European countries. When they say that, they're telling me that they've never been to Europe without telling me they've never been to Europe.

To clear up any confusion, European countries are not Marxist. There is no "to each according to need, to each according to ability" mantra in Europe. The poor pay taxes, just like the rich. Rights are afforded by the responsibilities of the populations.

And that's the BLUF. Europe is about rights couples with responsibilities. US progressives want rights decoupled from responsibility.
