Ten years of fighting the CIA-armed Mujahadeen in Afghanistan -- guerrillas who eventually evolved into al-Qaida -- cost the Soviet Army 14,453 KIA; 53,753 WIA; 312 MIA and an estimated $50bn.

Putin's Russia is the closest analogue to Trump's United States.

Where Putin Goes One, We Go All.

That's about 1% of Russia's total population. Imagine if the US was invaded another country only to sustained 3.5 million casualties with more than 1 million (mostly men in the prime of their lives) dead.

That is what Putin has delivered to Russia.

To put it another way, imagine if the primary demographic for covid hospitalizations/deaths had been men under the age of 40.

Putin is a mass murderer, in exactly the same vein as the mass murderer who was executed for his crimes, Ted Bundy. Putin has murdered many of his neighbors and should be seen as a deranged criminal.

With much of them being nothing more than fodder sent to the lines poorly trained and poorly equipped only to have them unalived in a cloud of pink attack drone mist.

This is what wars of attrition are like.

The war is almost WWI-style combat, with a dead zone of 10s of KM wide. Watching videos of the drone kills on X, you can't fathom the inhumanity of it all. I mean I can excuse artillery fire, as you don't "hunt" your victims. But the deaths by "hunting" are gruesome.

If it were the US on the receiving end, and the US won the war, there would be war crime tribunals against the losing side. But it's Ukraine committing them, so no one will say that.

Oh i get it now. This fool is russian. Now everything makes sense.

The republican party has more nazis in it than ukraine does

GEMINI SAYS:
"The short answer is no, Ukraine is not "full of Nazis."Russia's claim that it invaded Ukraine to "denazify" the country has been widely rejected by international historians, political scientists, and independent monitors as a fabricated pretext designed to justify an unprovoked war of aggression. To understand why this claim lacks substance"while also understanding the small kernel of reality Russia weaponized to build the narrative"the issue can be broken down into three main areas.1. The Political Reality: The Far-Right Has Almost No PowerIf Ukraine were controlled or heavily influenced by neo-Nazis, you would expect to see that reflected in its government and democratic elections. The opposite is true:Electoral Failure: In Ukraine's 2019 parliamentary elections, a coalition of all major far-right and nationalist parties (including Svoboda, the Right Sector, and National Corps) banded together. They won just over 2% of the total vote, completely failing to cross the 5% threshold required to win seats in parliament. A Jewish President: Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is Jewish and won the 2019 presidential election with a landslide 73% of the vote. Several of his family members were murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust, and his grandfather fought against Nazi Germany in the Soviet Red Army. Like many European nations"including Russia itself"Ukraine has small, fringe far-right extremist groups. However, their political influence in Ukraine is significantly lower than in many other European countries. "

The Consensus among Historians:
Shortly after the 2022 invasion, more than 140 of the world's leading historians of Nazism and the Holocaust signed a joint statement rejecting the Kremlin's rhetoric:
"We strongly reject the Russian government's... equation of the Ukrainian state with the Nazi regime to justify its unprovoked aggression. This rhetoric is factually wrong, morally repugnant and deeply offensive to the memory of millions of victims of Nazism."

Nazis were 2 percent of the last Election in Ukraine before the war.

"We'll explain what these claims are all about and why experts say they are misleading.

A statement signed by more than 300 historians who study genocide, Nazism and World War II said Putin's rhetoric about de-Nazifying fascists among Ukraine's elected leadership is "propaganda."
