Oil prices hit $100 a barrel for the first time since May as the escalating conflict in the Middle East reignited fears over global energy supplies.

According to @itep.org, the typical American households has spent an extra $468 on gas since the start of Trump's Iran War. Overall, people in the U.S. have paid $62.5B more to the oil industry, to date, since prices began to rise. This is all happening due to the whims of one man.

Reading the news, it's evident that everyone is watching the man's physical state closely in the hopes that he just dies.

The Strait of Hormuz was open to over 130 ships per day before Pres trump started his war of choice against Iran.

Now Pres Trump's main goal in his war seems to return to that state of operation ...

Yeah, that seems to be the gist of the matter.

Did Pres Trump listen to his military advisors when they may have warned him about a quagmire called Iran?

Or did Pres Trump dismiss those warnings because he was of the opinion that he knew better?

The Red Sea is a HUGE transporter of consumer goods. Now that Yemen's in the picture, and the Strait of Hormuz is essentially closed, container ships full of consumer goods will be forced to sail the Horn of Africa. In addition to added costs and thousands upon thousands of miles to their routes, the journeys through those waters can be treacherous; weather and pirates. Price increases for too many consumer goods to count will only add to the inflation people already feel.
