... A close ally of President Donald Trump, Loomer has completely reversed her longtime criticism of Ukraine and is urging fellow conservatives to be wary of Moscow's propaganda, which she blames for duping large swaths of the American right. "You don't need to listen to a podcaster and let them influence your opinion about a country. You can look at those facts yourself," she told The Associated Press in Kyiv shortly after returning from a trip close to the front line in Ukraine's east. Sounds like Critical Theory.

You look at a meeting like this and you shake your head and wonder why it would happen. Well, Laura Loomer is an Israel-Firster and she realizes that as long as Russia continues to supply Iran with intelligence and armaments, then her beloved genocide-committing country will be in future danger.
If Israel hadn't dominated American foreign policy over the past 30 years, Iran would have moderated its extremist government after 9-11 and become at least a cold ally against Russian influence along its northern and western frontier. But NOOOO, neocons insisted on including Iran in the notorious "axis of evil" and screwed the pooch on the chances of that ever happening. And now, here we are.

Yes, they do.

No, they can't.
As republican posters prove constantly.
Facts are meaningless.
Laura should know that, she's based her entire career around the fact Trump supporters are idiots.

She's playing them for idiots now. I sincerely doubt that this woman has changed her tune. What she senses is the fall of Trump, and she wants to be on the right side of events in order to preserve her own influence.
It helps, a lot, that Ukraine is winning this war. Now it's Donald lacking cards to play, not Zelynskyy.

They're still a sovereign state hitting back successfully.
Yeah, they're winning.

I had thought that Ukraine must collapse from attrition.
But those bright lads appear to have found a way around that.
I'm told that now eight Russians die for every Ukrainian.

Is the Russian strategy to keep sending meat waves against the Ukrainians so they won't have time to re-occupy territory?

"Forced conscription", aka slave soldiers. Ukraine lowered the draft age but that only gets them so far. They continue to have chronic troop shortages on the front, 150k desertions and climbing, and the original volunteers are 2 months from being in combat for 4 straight years. Their last offensive was Jan-March of this year, it made it 10 kilometers and was then pushed back by Russian waves. Territory occupied continues to slowly tick in Russia's favor. Total casualty count is 3 russians for 1 ukranian.
Don't get me wrong, they're running the world's most effective elastic defense, but it's because of a critical lack of troops forcing that situation on them. One sector was held by a lone combat robot for awhile.

Time to reoccupy? No, Russia is grinding forward to encircle and capture territory. Look back at that map I linked. Zoom in on Orikhiv, it was central to Ukraine's early NATO geared offensive that stalled out just South of there when it ran into Russian defense in depth. Notice the tendrils creeping around the sides of it? Eventually those meet and Orikhiv falls. It will take many, many Russian lives, but they seem to have those to spare and historically always have.

Then why do they use mercenaries and foreign troops?
What you say was true during WWII. Not now.
#15 | Posted by Zed at 2026-07-27 10:03 AM | Reply
Because they're cheaper than Russians.

Mercenaries and foreigners.

Also, NK is getting extensive combat experience for their army. Did you see what happened when they first hit the scene? They lined up and went forward like it was the 60s. They were butchered. Now they're a lot smarter, and that's bad for everybody around them.

Maybe so. But they'd be better off having a real army. They're fighting a real war.

They're on army #3 or #4 depending on how you count them.
