I agree this is a real problem for the GOP but it's been talked about going back way before Trump.

The media has been calling young republicans Nazis since Reagan/BushSr.

I have one in what's left of my family. After 50 years, he still drives long-haul semi's and gets ALL his facts & talking points from AM talk radio, and had a propensity of regurgitating them unsolicited as undisputed fact. He usually steered clear of me at then-rare family gatherings. Skipped his own mother's funeral, and I haven't heard from him since then. Family...ya know?
