"In depositions and congressional testimony, Hutchinson said that Mr. Trump and Meadows were warned on Jan. 6 that some of his supporters were carrying weapons to the Capitol, but Mr. Trump said he didn't care " and he tried to order officials to remove the magnetometers at the rally where he spoke that morning."

CBS News could not determine precisely which parts of Hutchinson's testimony were being scrutinized by prosecutors. According to media reports, House Republican allies of the president made the referral to the Justice Department."

The depth of the cuts inflicted on Trump by defeats like this can't be under-estimated. He's obviously been plotting revenge against this woman for six freaking years.

Unfortunately, this setback is simply one more call to vengance in his sick and very dangerous little mind.

After the midterms Trump is going to have a whole new batch of perceived enemies to prosecute.

DoJ lawyers carrying out these malicious prosecutions need to be disbarred.

Notice how all of those who claimed Biden was "weaponizing" the doj are silent over actual weaponization of the DOJ.

Their silence is deafening.

The DOJ's farcical Trump revenge team is getting blocked at every turn. Grand juries declining to indict, charges being dismissed by judges, a petit jury acquitting a defendant. Remember the sandwich man? Might explain why the DOJ filed a "criminal information" against Comey, rather than going to a grand jury indictment, on the latest round of bull**** charges against him.

It's all been an egregious abuse of power, and a waste of everyone's time.

Project25 et al accuses Biden of weaponizing the DoJ so THEY can weaponize the DoJ... with an Actual Criminal in the WH:

"The debate has moved beyond rhetoric into official policy actions. Following the return of the Trump administration, leadership at the DOJ, including Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, has used findings from internal reviews to implement sweeping changes.

While the administration frames these moves as restoring integrity to the prosecutorial system, critics continue to view them as the realization of Project 2025's blueprint to align federal law enforcement with partisan objectives."

"DOJ's First Weaponization' Report Is a Bust

But the Weaponization Working Group has discovered very little "weaponization" at all.

And whatever sins it does describe"both real and imagined"may serve as justification for perpetrating the very thing it decries.

The weaponization report takes the form of a classic Trump two-step: First, claim that normal law-enforcement work, when directed against you oryour friends, is illegitimate; then, use that supposed illegitimacy as justification for your own revenge

This is justice according only to the playground principle of "I'm rubber; you're glue."

The only ones who can get away with calling Lil' Donnie names are those like "Heil" Musk, who give him Millions in Bribes and profit Billions off of that in preferential Gov Contracts and Enormous Tax Cuts.

This last one only cost the American people a LOT of money... and some African nations several Million deaths due to starvation and disease, most of whom were children.

Thanks, Trumpers!

(Edit!: should be 'over a Million deaths')
