The next president can wipe their ass with that order.

Can't the next president (if there ever is one) just sign an Executive Order cancelling all of Trump's Executive Orders?

Aside from the aspect of cancelling such an Executive Order in the future, there is a question I have ...
Why does Pres Trump think that his current, I'll say, ~decor~ of the esteemed Oval Office represents the President of the United States who serves the people of the United States, and not himself?
Or does Pres Trump seem to think, as his current Oval Office decor seems to indicate, that the President of the United States is an autocrat who must be worshiped by subjugated subjects?

The man is pathetic.
Trump has also signed executive orders RESCINDING national monuments. Real ones.
He behaves as if someone might take away his teddy.
Well, that's what we're going to do.

And yet every gaudy, tacky physical trace of that orange pile of s*^% will be scrubbed from this country.
So let him write all the worthless "proclamations" he'd like, his legacy will remain one of historical significance only as one of the worst presidents the US has ever had.

It would seem that the Felon President wants his gold geegaws permanently ensconced on the White House and oval office walls. After he destroyed the Kennedy rose garden, the south lawn, the East wing, and is building his fuhrer bunker and "BIG BEAUTIFUL ball room he didn't ask permission for. The Kennedy center, the reflecting pool, the Victory arch area.
He doesn't know that his "Presidential pronouncements don't have the force of law and won't live past his exit in 2029. And shouldn't. Say hello to Putin for us.

@#7 ... He doesn't know that his "Presidential pronouncements don't have the force of law and won't live past his exit in 2029. ...
That is what I have heard as well, that his Executive orders can be easily reversed by future Presidents.
That aspect aside for the nonce ...
If Pres Trump has the self-proclaimed most awesome decorating skills, skills unseen by any other human who has ever lived on this planet (OK, I exaggerate, but not by much ... :)   ) ...
They why does he need an Executive Order to preserve what he has done to the Oval Office?

I hope the next president tears down all the gaudy bling and dumps the pile on the driveway at Mar A Lago.

IMO, Trump has a great fear that he's going to be forgotten.
He's probably right. It will be a long time before America forgets the most incompetent, the most ego centric, the most corrupt, the greediest, the most insecure creature to ever occupy the Oval Office.
We have to remember him so we can keep saying "Never Again." As such, Trump's place in history is secure.

Likely.
And what will be remembered about him in the history is what he did to our Country.

At his point, I am not sure if it is being forgotten, or remembered for the disaster he has brought upon the Country.

When Trump was elected in 2016, my wife was bummed about his election. To make her feel better, and having known about Trump for decades, I told my wife, "When it's all said and done, Trump will end up as the most reviled politician in American history."
Though history will prove that prediction correct, I take no pleasure in being right.

I don't think Trump sees any disaster. His theory is "no pain, no gain" and that democracy is a blockade to America's future greatness.
i.e. Trump's genius brain at work on behalf of the GOP's Unitary Executive plan.

Like yourself, I also thought that America would right its own Ship of State just like it's always done.
We were both right.
