Army Confirms Parade on Trump's Bday

The timing and White House involvement in planning efforts have stoked speculation that Trump is using the Army's birthday as an excuse to get the kind of grand military parade he wanted during his first term in office. That event was scrapped after estimates topped $90 million.

Tanks and other heavy military vehicles will damage Washington DC's streets. And we need more helicopters wasting aviation fuel conducting rehearsals and flying during the parade. This is a National Special Security Event (NSSE) that will be a nightmare to protect. But the hardworking American taxpayer will fund the bill for the massive overtime and fuel costs. I imagine guests of Nero and their huge entourages will stay at Trumpf hotels in the NCR. "Cha-Ching!"
