State and federal officials announced on Monday that 10 people were arrested for engaging in a "planned ambush" on an ICE detention facility in Texas over the Fourth of July holiday. The individuals were charged with attempted murder of a federal officer, according to court records. The incident occurred at the Prairieland Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas, on Friday, according to Nancy Larson, the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Texas. At approximately 10:37 p.m., 10 to 12 individuals dressed in black, military-style clothing began shooting fireworks and engaging in acts of vandalism at the facility, Larson said during a press conference.
Yeah the whole "ICE instead of law enforcement" thing concerns me.
While i am not saying that these charges my not be justified, I am saying that ICE seems to be able to go beyond the legal police guidelines in their interactions with people. Maybe even to the point of provoking violence instead of quelling it.

" I still remain curious ... why did your current alias alter the headline of the article it posted to include something it now says it it unable to substantiate?"
Already answered. I re@d it early in the day and now can't find the source. So I backed off and would drop it from the headline if I could because I can't substantiate it.
