Biden 'Happy' to Debate Trump

President Joe Biden said Friday he is "happy" to debate former President Donald Trump, though did not specify as to when. The comment was made during a one-on-one interview with radio host Howard Stern, who asked if the president had plans to debate his 2024 opponent. "I am somewhere," Biden responded, the first time he's indicated he will debate Trump this election cycle. "I don't know when. I'm happy to debate him."

Trump will just back out of it making some lame excuse like with his taxes.

It'd be like watching two codgers in the morning room arguing over the last fruit cup. Biden's staff should tell him he already debated Trump and he won. He wouldn't know the difference. Trump wouldn't debate Haley and DeSantis. He drifts off when he speaks at one of his rallies. It would be a clown show.

I'd rather see Halley and Harris shriek at each other.

Define drifts off, Biden is quotable. Trumps stories a laborious to listen too, but not sure about the "drifting off".

He talks for 1hr 30min some of its going to be rambling.

Equating the two negates your ability to discern the difference between someone with dementia, and someone just getting old.

I'd suggest, instead of a debate , a mud wrestling match between the two. My money would be on Harris. She's younger, more fit. Hotter too.

That would decide it for me.

Perhaps one of the agree-to conditions was not to mute a microphone.

Biden should insist that Trump be handcuffed or leg-ironed to his podium because he is showing signs of blowing a gasket (erupting in a furious rage) at any given moment.

He shouldn't fall into Trump's trap. There is a time and place for POTUS debates that have been going on for many, many decades. Trump is trying to fast track it so he can use anything Biden says as ammunition for as long as possible. It's kind of easy to see his tactic. Just ignore him until it's time for the normal debates.

My personal opinion though is that I have things far more worth my time than watching two old, out of touch white men debating over what is best for the country when we are incapable of fixing anything. The only real path forward we have to salvage everything is to amicably split into red and blue countries. And there is nothing wrong with that. We have gotten to a point where we can't fix anything directly because of partisanship and more issues just keep getting added. So we either do what needs to be done to make a better path forward or we continue to devolve and eventually fall.

Umm yeah there is a lot wrong with that. That would mean we are no longer The United States.

And what you are describing is called a "civil war" and there is plenty wrong with that as you should be well aware if you had the tiniest clue. Civil Wars are not very civil.

The "path forward" is Trumpy being held accountable for his actions in a court of law with America bravely showing the world that in a democracy no man is above the law.

PO1135809 doesn't want anything to do with a debate with Biden. Guy can't string 3 coherent sentences together, and it's not because he has a speech impediment, he is cognitively impaired. Trump will do what Trump always does. Therefore, if this debate is legit, a moderator will have a fact checker handy.

Or Trump will weasel out by demanding so many unrealistic "conditions" that the debate will never happen. Then he'll lie and try to put Biden on the defensive. Projection is Trump's m.o.

Well the entire world watched Trumpanzee get his red hiney soundly kicked all three times by Hillary... and old woman half his size...

She went on to make history garnering more votes but lost on a technicality. Today she is retired from politics, writing books, spending time with the grandchildren...

Trampanzee is trying to relive his glory day... the one he squandered.

Oh and BTW... remember when he was going to have Hillary convicted of something as soon as he came to office?
