I am ashamed of all the people calling for President Biden to quit the race. If he does, who do they think will win for them and us instead in November?

Mr. Biden may be slowing down, both physically and mentally. So what? Who among us older generation isn't?

I'll be 83 next month and no longer can walk without either a walker or rollator. This is probably due to age, but I want to believe it is mainly because of a wonky leg and a fear of falling because of it.

Mentally I find myself often searching for the correct word, although this is something I've done all my life. For some odd reason my mind isn't always in synch with my mouth. Mr. Biden might have the some problem, made worse by struggling with a stutter.

As I said, the people pushing him to quit the campaign are not thinking things through. One bad debate shouldn't take the place of a lifetime of service to our country. His fellow politicians must support him and help through the coming months.

Women know what to do. Speaking to the weak-knee males, put on your big boy pants and man up!

Old people don't have a Claude Pepper to stand up for them any more. It's a bad thing for our country.

Respect for elders has worn thin when previous generations have done so much to screw things up, leaving the coming generations to suffer the consequences of their short term gain.

Yeah, but I was not talking about "old people" in general, but only for the Constitutional requirements for the Presidency.

But to what I see as the point of your comment, if a Constitutional limit on the maximum age for a President relects to the general population, then should not the minimum 35 year old minimum age requirement also reflect to the general population?

Minimum 35 years old to be able to vote. Or drive a car. Or sign a document. etc.

Here's the deal.

The only people who will refuse to vote for Kamala Harris because she's black, or a woman, were never going to vote for a Democrat anyways. Sexists and racists already have a comfortable home in the Republican Party. Almost anyone who would vote for current-day Biden would almost certainly vote for Harris.

On the flipside, there are independents and even some Democrats who harbor grave concerns about Biden's age and abilities, and he has done almost nothing to win those people over since his utter disaster of a debate. The risk of those people staying home is a lot more significant at this point than a Harris candidacy, imo. Nobody can tell the future but it's really hard to see how Biden manages to wage a full scale assault on his opponent at this point.

Do you see people demanding that Biden sit down with Sean Hannity on Fox or Tucker Carlson on X?

The only ones questioning his mental abilities are the same -------- that made the same accusations in 2017 and failed to shut up after Trump aced his cognitive test - the same cognitive test Biden refuses to take and the -------- are not forcing him to take it now.

I'll try to explain slowly. The vast majority of Americans don't care about the Palestinians very much. Which is probably better than how their fellow Arabs feel about the Palestinians.

Certainly, most Americans aren't willing to turn on their party or country because they are butt-hurt on how the war the Palestinians instigated by raping and murdering 1,200 Israeli men, women, and children is turning out for them.

It was in 2020, or perhaps 2023 he could have announced he's not seeking reelection, like he had once claimed.

But 4 months before the election is defeatist and whoever takes his seat will lose because republicans will attack democrats for being weak.

Pushing forward is offensive. Retreating is defensive.

No its not. Especially when Biden staying in the race means defeat.

"because republicans will attack democrats for being weak"

BFD. Let them attack. Another candidate will energize precisely the people that are needed to help the Ds win.

"Pushing forward is offensive. Retreating is defensive"

Not true. From the snap, Eli Manning ran backwards for nearly 10 seconds to gain time and position in order to complete a long pass to David Tyree that ended up winning them the Super Bowl XLII. He could have easily just stood there and "let his offensive line do their job" but he took chances and made quick decisions that won him and his team a World Title. Life lesson.

Being on the offense means you do risky things to put yourself in the best position to win, and if that means pulling your dementia-addled candidate out with four months to go, you do it.

The problem is that the Democrats don't have any balls.

The convention hasn't happened yet. Biden was the right choice in 2020. He's not the right choice for 2024, that's not the same Biden.

It's like watching one of the 737 MAX crashes in real time.

Everybody on board that can see what's coming: "We don't want to ride this Boeing into the ground. You just have to push that button that fixes the problem and we'll fly out of this."

PIC: "Nope. That's defeatist! We're going to wrestle this malfunction all the way into the ground and everybody in back needs to stfu and stop screaming."

but The Matter Is Closed!

So we're going to all get buried in this smoking crater and nobody is going to go check on it because Trump defunded the FAA.

There is no other candidate that can replace Biden. It would have to be Vice President Harris. None of his $100 million in campaign funds is transferable to anyone other than VP Harris. No other Democrat can stand up a campaign in 4 months and stand a chance to win.

Even if some fantasy rando were to try to replace Biden, it would mean certain defeat.

The whole MSM trying to make fetch happen is a blip, and designed to throw the election to the rapist felon.

Nobody has provided ANY evidence of Biden being unable to perform his duties as POTUS. Dude has a spectacular record, whatever his flaws.

The alternative is a moronic degenerate intent on becoming a Christo-fascist dictator. No thanks.

I see that you've taken your Hamas heroes' philosophy to heart.

You must be shocked to learn that some Dems don't want to see the party turned into the political equivalent of present-day Gaza.

Yet they continue to stick with the guy most likely to lose to the other guy who will most likely make that very thing happen.

Not really my cup of tea.

But please keep in mind that not everyone has the rhythm and joint strength to dance in the streets like the Palestinians did on 9/11 when they were celebrating the murder of 3,000 innocent American civilians. So some people may enjoy themselves in different ways than you are used to.

But I guess Palestinians have never been big on tolerating differences ("Gay Palestinian Ahmad Abu Marhia beheaded in West Bank [ ... ] LGBTQ groups say he had spent two years in Israel waiting on an asylum claim to flee abroad after receiving death threats from within his community. Israeli media quote friends of the victim as saying he was kidnapped to the West Bank." bbc.com)

The irony hurts. When it was 2020 and I said Biden is the only one that can win, and most people wanted anybody else.. I know how they feel now, except this time the odds are worse.

I don't need Israeli purity, a progressive record, statements about billionaires being evil, promises of debt forgiveness, universal healthcare as a platform, even adult behavior on inflation, I just need a candidate that doesn't have Nixon Sweating moments in debates. Life isn't fair and that image loses elections.

"But I guess Palestinians have never been big on tolerating differences"

Zionist psychopaths love it when innocent Palestinians are killed in cold blood, but what really gives them a chubby is when some innocent Palestinian GAY man is killed, because they know they can disseminate this welcome news (SURPRISE! just like #91 just did) and use it as an excuse to further dehumanize millions of Palestinians and murder even MORE of them! That is probably one of the most despicable things about their special form of propaganda. Don't think for one moment that they actually care about this poor man-- if he wasn't useful to further the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people (in the name of protecting the gay ones, of course) he would be just another animal in need of being put down.

Loyal primarily to the ideology of the manufactured state of Israel, zionists could care less about who leads America. Many secretly (and even more not-so-secretly) want Trump, but that may be just the thing that tears America apart-- and with it the unquestioning political cover and military support the country has unconditionally received since its terroristic inception.

Got it. Israel tricked the Palestinians into abducting that gay Palestinian Israel was sheltering and then forced the Palestinians to kill him. Just like they made the Palestinians dance in the streets on 9/11. Probably by playing some sort of Pied Piper of Tel Aviv music.

Poor Palestinians! So misunderstood. Like when they innocently raped and murdered 1,200 Israeli civilian men, women, and children on October 7th. With love and charity in their hearts.

If only the world would learn to adore the Palestinians as much as their Arab brothers do. The ones who refuse to let them enter their nations after they repeatedly fomented civil war after those nations gave them shelter. (Black September in Jordan, Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt).

But back to the subject at hand. Make sure you vote for Trump. That should help your peeps immensely. I promise not to laugh too hard when the Trump presidency turns out exactly as we all expect for the Palestinians.

" Israel tricked the Palestinians"

Well, they have been killing and oppressing and maiming and systemically sexually assaulting numerous Palestinian men, women, and children and babies for over 80 years, but yes, they do trick them as well- although that is probably lower on the list of complaints.

You always conveniently forget that-- in your absurd position that everything started on October 7th or everything started when Hamas was formed or... everything started after etc, etc. Before zionism came to the area, the area lived in relative peace. Since that time, non-stop dehumanization, oppression, and murder of the native inhabitants.

"If only the world would learn to adore the Palestinians as much as their Arab brothers do".

Arab or non-Arab, Christian or Muslim, white or black or yellow or red, they don't have to adore them. America didn't adore the Jews when the Nazis were trying to kill as many of them as possible, many Americans had hatred for the Jews, but they did stop the genocide. The world will try to do the same for the Palestinians. It may not work, after all, American military might makes Israel what it is, and then they have laptop button boys like you infesting the media and web making sure to spread their exaggerations and fabrications as far and wide as possible, but the attempt will most certainly be remembered for much longer than both America's and Israel's existences.

Pity that you look forward to Trump ruining America in order to do the same thing that the Biden administration is already doing to the Palestinians, albeit with a "kinder, gentler machine gun hand". But so lieth your loyalties to that hand which controls, first and foremost.

Three year old Julia Abu Zeiter has been paralyzed for months from worsening symptoms of AHC, denied the medicine she needs. Her and her family moving from place to place in Gaza seeking stability, medicine, safety. Her father said if she didn't get out of Gaza she would die.

She has been evacuated to Egypt for hospital care after an international outcry, but her parents were denied exiting by Egypt and are still in Gaza.

Yes, such a lovely peace. Very enjoyable for all the non-Muslims living under Muslim rule. (Persecution by Muslims.) A "peace" obtained by Muslim conquest and colonization. (Early Muslim Conquests.) Where they murdered non-believers or compelled them to remain Muslim, often upon pain of death. (Apostasy in Islam).

But yes, everything was just hunky-dory before the Jews made their sudden appearance and messed up the Muslim utopia (2,000 years before Islam existed). Maybe Gaza will finally be at peace when Israel "finishes the problem" there. And in 1,400 years we can celebrate how the area is at "relative peace."

Pity that you look forward to Trump ruining America [...] #96 | Posted by NerfHerder
