"The interview had a number of moments where Stern riffed on Trump, including the former president's absence from Monday's 60 Minutes election special.

"It just says so much," Stern said.

"He didn't want to be fact checked. This is madness. This is insanity. What do you mean, you don't want to be fact-checked?"

;

Stern also asked Harris about the new revelations from Bob Woodward's upcoming book, War. According to The Washington Post, Woodward writes that during the early days of Covid, Trump was sending Covid tests to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Putin told Trump, "Don't let anyone know."

"People in America were struggling to get tests and this guy is sending them to Russia, to a murderous dictator for his personal use?" Harris said.

"That is just the most recent stark example of who Trump is," she continued, "that he secretly sent Covid test kits for the personal use of Putin of Russia, an adversary to the United States, when he was talking about Americans should be putting bleach in their blood. Think about what this is."

She said that Trump "has this desire to be a dictator," and the world'd dictators are "manipulating him with flattery and favor."

;

Harris also appeared to be goading Trump at one point, when she made the case that it was the former president who is the weak one in the race.

"Ultimately, I do believe that this is an election that is about strength versus weakness, and weakness as projected by someone who puts himself in front of the American people and does not have the strength to stand in defense of their needs, their dreams, their desires," she said."

OK, I have to say, a couple three days ago I saw reports that VP Harris was making a media tour.

I saw visits to various sites (one called something like ~Call Her Daddy~ or whatever).

I thought, OK, VP Harris is playing sympathetic media.

Then I also saw here appearances with Mr Stern and 60 Minutes.

And i thought, OK, she's taking the deep dive now in her media appearances.

I mean, you don't f**k with Howard Stern or his audience.

Then there was also that 60 Minutes visit. A interview that fmr Pres Trump did not appear to have the ------- contents to do.

Gets?

Has anyone listed to his show?

Howard hates Trump.

This is not a surprise to anyone who has ever listened to his show.

Trump, and especially Vance, have done FAR more interviews with tough questions than Harris/Walz.

@#3 ... Has anyone listed to his show? ...

Yeah, I did.

He was on the local WNBC back in the day.

He's a radio shock jock, going for headlines.

Which is why I was surprised about the VP Harris interview.

Fmr Pres Trump having interviews with suck-up media does not show, by any means, that he has contents in his -------.

That's why I commented about VP Harris sitting down with 60 Minutes.

An interview that fmr Pres Trump seems to be afraid to have.

CBS News says Trump campaign had shifting explanations' for why he snubbed '60 Minutes'
apnews.com

... CBS News said the Trump campaign offered "shifting explanations" for why it backed out of a "60 Minutes" interview special with presidential candidates that aired without him.

The network's Scott Pelley appeared on the air Monday night to explain why Republican Donald Trump did not appear on what has become a "60 Minutes" tradition: back-to-back interviews with presidential candidates in the last month of the campaign.

Harris was on the show, interviewed by Bill Whitaker. Where Trump was supposed to appear, "60 Minutes" instead aired a story about an Arizona official pushing false claims about election fraud.

Pelley said that the Trump campaign "complained that we would fact-check the interview. We fact-check every story."

The Trump team also demanded an apology for his interview during the 2020 campaign, where he claimed that correspondent Lesley Stahl said a laptop computer belonging to President Joe Biden's son Hunter came from Russia. "She never said that," Pelley said.

Pelley said that Trump's team had agreed to an interview at the former president's Mar-a-Lago home, with an additional talk in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he returned to the scene of a July assassination attempt. ...

Lucinda Williams - The Night's Too Long

Lyrics excerpt...

genius.com

...
[Verse 1]
Sylvia was workin' as a waitress in Beaumont
She said "I'm movin' away
I'm gonna get what I want
I'm tired of these small town boys
They don't move fast enough
I'm gonna find me one who wears a leather jacket
And likes his livin' rough"

[Verse 2]
So she saved her tips and overtime
And bought an old rusty car
She sold most everything she had
To make a brand new start
She said, "I won't be needin' these
Silly dresses and nylon hose
'Cause when I get to where I'm goin'
I'm gonna buy me all new clothes" ...

Howard Stern got donOLD to creep out on Ivanka on air. He knew how easily donOLD could be manipulated into being a prevert and did so.

fled the stage at NABJ when he was asked about Project 2025. Dotard is a colossal coward.

All he has is lies at this point and offers NOTHING to the American people.

All they do is Faux Nooze, Nooozemax and right wing fanboi podcasts.

donOLD and Jethro Dull refuse to go to any interview where they will be fact checked because they NEED to lie their asses off.
