Campaign had a couple of months to do what most candidates take at least a year or two to do.

Swing voters went with the devil they knew.... which many are already beginning to regret as Trump's picks for office have been shocking to anyone paying attention.

And Goldman-Sachs just warned that, you guessed it, Trump's Tariffs will increase prices AND inflation. Not to mention that his tax cuts for the rich will add trillions to the Debt.

Swing voters are like, "WTF did we DO?!".

Harris had four years to make a name for herself. Biden had four years to address what was really important to the voters. Neither one did and they lost.

Agreed. Biden didn't do anything about the supermarkets price gouging us.

That's because there was no price gouging. I don't see how the case can be made that operating at a 2% margin is gouging.

A top company leader at Kroger has admitted during an antitrust trial the company gouged prices on select items above inflation levels.

While testifying to a Federal Trade Commission attorney Tuesday, Kroger's Senior Director for Pricing Andy Groff said the grocery giant had raised prices for eggs and milk beyond inflation levels.

"This is not at all surprising," Drew Powers, the founder of Illinois-based Powers Financial Group, told Newsweek. "Companies across multiple industries have been posting record profits since the COVID-19 crisis while consumers have faced the highest inflation in recent history. The math can only point to companies raising prices above the general level of inflation. As the old saying goes, 'Never let a good crisis go to waste.'"

OOPSIE DAISY Jeff is wrong again. Color me shocked.

Economic issues were dealt with.

Only a disingenuous moron would assert otherwise.

And yes, the campaign was doomed.

The moment they pushed Harris to try and MaKe HiStOriEzZ!! based on identity policy -------- instead of strength of the candidate to beat Trump it was doomed.

All she had to do to win was commit to ending arms shipments to Israel. She wouldn't do it. Lots of people who cared about ending the genocide stayed home.

There is no such thing as price gouging, certainly not for products with price elasticity.

Kroger can charge as much as they want. It's up to the consumer to determine if the product they are considering buying is worth more or less than the money they will pay for it.

"Bill, how would you rank him, compared to other conmen? Including Bill Clinton."

Aren't all statesmen conning someone most of the time?

He lied about the affair but frankly I think he was targeted and persecuted and a lot of time and resources were wasted on him much like Trump.

I think NAFTA might has been a big con. I'm not sure.

The Associated Press reported in October 2024 that nearly 120,000 copies of the Bible were printed in Hangzhou, China, and shipped to the United States earlier in the year, at a cost of less than $3 per book

Sold for $60 to $90

Alex,

I bought the Bible because it was a Bible.

I've purchased many translations and different formats. I like Bibles.

But you would never understand that.

Don't believe everything you think.

I bought the Bible because it was a Bible.

It was a donation. To what, remains a mystery.

Alex,

My 8th birthday I requested a Bible.

I was given one of the large family style Bibles, as they're called.

Lot of illustrations and pages to record family lineage.

Anyone who contributed to Kanala was defrauded.

1.5 billion is a lot of money to go through.

Sounds like a lot was probably pilfered.

Did you contribute to her?

I read not the King James Version any longer, for much time do I spend striving to discern the words, and not their meaning.

Thou shouldst obtain the New King James Version, or perchance my favored choice, the New Living Translation.
