#54 would be hilarious were it not so sad.
Jesus and Paul both said the same thing... Christians are not to judge or condemn sinners. Period.
They are even told that if they do judge or condemn sinners, that same condemnation will be used against them.
Matthew 7 :: NIV. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" - JC
Paul:
Romans chapter 2
New King James Version
1 "Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things."
and by same things he means sins; falling short, missing the mark of perfection... because none of us are perfect.
Paul just spent Romans 1 detailing the sexual perversions in Rome to the foundling church there. He told them not to participate, but ALSO NOT TO JUDGE or Condemn others who did.
Because although it may not be a sin involving sex, everyone misses the mark somehow, usually through pride, envy, anger, jealousy, gluttony, or sloth... which are NO DIFFERENT to God than a sexual sin.
SO, man up and respond intelligently, Major B.... like I know you will.
