Zack Beauchamp, Vox: At this point, there is little doubt that President Donald Trump and Elon Musk are engaged in a fundamentally unlawful effort to rewrite the American constitutional order.

Well, those "kids" were involved in some dark crap.

Three of the four known to access the CFPB have administrator access within one week which normally requires a year.

A further thought and reminder, after this article: with King Dotard II, it's all diversion and negotiating ploys. He creates one issue so as to hold leverage on another issue. For example, the tariff threats are just that--threats. Trump holds these over the heads of those from whom he wants something else. Those people then seek from Trump what it is he really wants from those threatened, and immediately open themselves to bargaining--the worst type of negotiation. The way to get Trump to back down has already been demonstrated--call his bluff and respond in kind. Trump is then forced to either cause real pain to his own political base, or to stop his process, declare 'victory' and move on to some other shiny object.

Try this at home, or at your next press conference with Pete "Booze hounds are fun" Hegseth: ask him why a certain US military installation was named for one of the worst generals on the losing side of the US Civil War. Then ask when we will start backing winners, such as the Union Army and its best generals. All of a sudden, a stupid decision is exposed in public, in the worst way. And as these people move forward, keep asking questions of this type. Soon enough, the deciderers will decide they had better keep their mouths shut and be thought fools, rather than open them and remove all doubt. Rinse and repeat...

We acted to stop trump in 2020 by electing biden. But being a delusional old moderate, biden threw away the only chance to stop trump in a pathetic attempt to make friends with nazis.

How to Stop Trump's Power Grab

Short of a civil war, we can't.

I've read there some seats in the house which are coming up for election.

Short of winning all of them, republicans completely control the federal government.

And with Trump alleging Musk knows how to hack voting machines, I wouldn't be surprised to find out republicans won all the seats.

At this point, why wouldn't they. Who's gonna stop them?

we can't get people to show up for elections....there will be no civil war.

First he grabbed P, now he's grabbing D(emocracy).

He certainly learned from Putin, for decades as he took Russian financing (as American banks wouldn't touch him.) and he learned from Vlad how to create an Oligarchy; first court them, then threaten them with open windows.

And he spent his first term and the time in between to praise every authoritarian dictator on the planet, including Kim... if Idi Amin were still alive, he'd prolly have place in the Cabinet.

This patently illegal shock and awe EO fiasco looks like it will in the most part succeed, (as Republicans will never grow a pair) as he owns his own SC, which will only deny him if think they have to.

Were he actually the AntiChrist, rather than just perfectly matching every description of him because he is such an evil bastard... we would have a ME Peace agreement built on his Abraham Accords, that is for 7 years, but would only last 3.5 years (of worldwide peace and prosperity) from it's signing, because the AC in the OT and NT breaks the agreement then and attacks.... Israel.

But if he's only an evil bastard, I am instructed to pray for him as my enemy. That hasn't happened yet, but I'm werkin' on it!

he learned from Vlad how to create an Oligarchy;

I enjoy bashing Trump as much as the next red blooded American.

But.

America has been an oligarchy since Reagan.

It just wasn't as grotesquely obvious as it is now.

By the way. #8 was for # 6. But I think that's pretty obvious.

America has been reverting towards a promised return to the Gilded Age oligarchs since Reagan, yeah, that's where this started; but it's not only obvious now, it's becoming inevitable.

I think he learned from Obama & Biden, he's just taking it one step further.

The Obama use of NGO's to ship out billions and billions of dollars, parking it in big banks to dole out later to get through the Trump years. LEGEND

Don't under sell them Obama and Biden are legends!

The Biden stop over only made Trump stronger.

Would have been better to let Trump win, he would have been weakened by inflation too (not Bidens fault), Democrats could have had 12-16years of Presidents.

But OrangeMan bad, which I am sure you voted for Biden.....

Lumpers just dont think beyond the now.

Why does this sick puppy feel like he's accomplishing anything by incredibly lamely blaming someone other than Trump?

Oh, wait... he's like a 5 year old at a zoo, rattling the cages because he 'thinks' (Citation STILL necessary) that he's owning him a lib.

Pretty pathetic really when some who can think about it does.

More hilarity ensues. You imagine Trump invented all this himself? Are you claiming Trump is a genius?

Reminder "You didn't build that!"

The way it becomes a Civil War, if it does, may be by Citizens, including former Trump supporters, going into the streets for mass Peaceful Marches.

He's known to run away whenever possible; when the heat is on, which is already starting.

But the fighting would come when his Proud Boy and other assorted Nazis show up and force a fight. I was at some protests against Nixon in the late '60's (I was but a child!), and we all saw what mainly peaceful protest of all age groups and ethnicities could produce.

They ended a foreign War and ran a Pres out of Office.

for Rogers:

One time may not count because it was in Highland Park, lol... my girlfriend (I stared way young!) and I watched as her two incredibly wealthy maiden Aunts helped turn over a Police cruiser in the Park!

Minus 10 points awarded for not mentioning the Clintons.

Other than:

1) Fire lots of thousands of hard working people in the public sector;

2) Scaring the shit out of middle class consumers who buy groceries and other daily items;

3) Terrifying millions of elderly people who are dependent on Social Security, medicaid and other social services as to how they are to survive going forward;

4) Undermining the entire agricultural community and businesses (large and small) throughout the nation by deporting every foreign born worker (on whom ALL of us) ICE can possibly lay its hands on;

what has Trump done so far?

In so far as I can tell, Trump has done nothing. Nothing at all. He has had a lot of great photo ops especially with Musk and lots of White appointees, claimed credit for international events which he has played zero role in effectuating, alienated almost all our global allies from Europe to Asia to South America with a bunch of extremely short sighted tariffs that are only going to make our financial situation here in the US worse, AND, perhaps most alarmingly, bent over to Russia and is now allowing Putin to fcuk the US up the butt on a host of issues that America has stood firm on since WW2. (But to be fair, he has gone to bat for wealthy White Afrikaneers in South Africa who are facing property disputes with their own government.)

Trump is the worst leader I could possibly imagine. He could not be doing more damage to America if he were a foreign operative working to weaken and undermine our nation.

Oh. I forgot. Trump also has proudly declared war on DEI so that there is even less chance than ever of well qualified blacks, women, latinos, gays and people with hard to pronounce names from getting promotions to senior positions within our society.

And squarely faced America's most pressing of problems, - Transgender people from using what he considers to be the wrong bathroom.

What a joke! What an embarrassment! And worst of all, what a fiasco for the American people!
