"Don't these attorneys do their due diligence?"
#6 | POSTED BY NIXON
Apparently not. It's a hard-and-fast rule in the legal profession for attorneys to know the answer to their question before they ask.
In short, this hearing with just one highly speculative witness was a failed fishing trip.
They learned a lesson the hard way. This time it cost them their cases.
Next time, stick to the rules. Do their own investigation. Don't rely on Donald Trump's wild imaginings for due diligence even if he is footing their bills.
Psst: ("Paying their legal bills?" LOL ~ I wonder if they skipped their due diligence on that, too. Trump doesn't pay loser. He uses and abuses them. And sometimes they lose their law license trying to please him.)
Here's a partial list of attorneys, for various reasons, including loss of license, non-payment, and irreconcilable differences, who have been victimized by Trump to the point that they can no longer justify representing him or any entity associated with him.
Lin woods. . . Rudy Giuliani . . . Sidney Powell . . . Michael Cohen . . .Joe Tacopina . . . Chad Seigel . . . Matthew DeOro . . . Draw Findling . . .Jim Trusty . . . John Rowley . . . Tim Parlatore . . . Cleta Mitchell . . . Bryan Hughes . . . John Scott . . . two attorneys from the law firm of Porter Wright & Arthur . . . the Law firm of Snell & Wilmer.
Some names you might not recognize but this is a list compiled by Forbes that I'm repeating here, just to make the point about readily available due diligence.
