"Thomas was the focus of controversy over Supreme Court ethics in 2023, after reports emerged that he accepted luxury travel via yacht and private jet from billionaire businessman and conservative political donor Harlan Crow without disclosing the gifts publicly. T

he justice also sold real estate including his childhood home in Georgia to Crow and failed to include those deals in his annual financial disclosures. ProPublica received a Pulitzer Prize on May 6 for its role in uncovering the financial connections."

"It's one of the reasons we like RVing," he added. "You get to be around regular people who don't pride themselves in doing harmful things merely because they have the capacity to do it or because they disagree."

'

Perhaps were he not accepting money and gifts from political donors, and his wife weren't neck deep in a conspiracy to overthrow an election, he wouldn't get criticized so much, ya think?

At the core of the SCOTUS rot there he is, the whiner-in-chief, Clarence "Hell, Yes, I'm Open for Business" Thomas.

The arrogance to strip women of rights, take bribes from billionaires, participate in an insurrection and to be offended by criticism.

OpEd: Clarence Thomas and the bottomless self-pity of the upper classes
www.latimes.com

... Articles asking us to feel sympathy for families barely scraping by on healthy six-figure incomes may be staples of the financial press, but it's rare that they come packaged as real-world case studies attached to flesh-and-blood individuals.

But that's what happened just before Christmas, when law professor Steven Calabresi defended Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' shadowy financial relationships with a passel of conservative billionaires by explaining that Thomas simply was trying to avoid the difficulty of surviving on his government salary of $285,400 a year. ...

Thomas also described Washington as a place where "people pride themselves in being awful."

"It is a hideous place as far as I'm concerned," Thomas said.

-----, is it as hideous as that insurrectionist twunt you're married to?

My comment to Justice Thomas...

You reap what you sow.

Justice Thomas seems to be saying that his, I'll be kind and call them, indiscretions are not his problems.

He seems to understand that in the current political environment of The Country, nothing will be done to hold him accountable.

As a result, he basically seems to tell the United States to f-off.

All while managing to be the victim. Always the victim.

@#8 ... Always the victim. ...

That seems to be the GOP mantra of late.

No?

Oh, is poor Judge filth getting his feelings hurt as he gets called out on his corruption? This corrupt bum Clarence Thomas needs to go to jail. And, those other three lying scumbag members of our SCOTUS need to resign and face charges for lying under oath to congress as well.

The U.S. Supreme Court Republican majority is just part of the plan to allow the GOP and Russia to turn this country into an autocracy. So far, they've been holding up their end of the bargain.

Little by little they've been chipping away bits and pieces of the Constitution in preparation for the day when they don't have to pretend any more ~ and all of our rights will simply disappear in favor of a spanking new autocratic Constitution.

We won't even know what hit us.

No more Freedom of the Press
No more Freedom of Speech
No more right to assembly
No more free and fair elections
No more right to protest
No more right to travel
No more right to transfer money out of the country
No more right to unionize
No more right a fair and equal system of justice

IOW, a carbon copy of the Russian Constitution that embeds all power to the dictator.

Awww, poor Clearance Thoma$, he's upset because people have pointed out his breathtaking grift, selling decisions that affect Americans' daily lives in exchange for rich people owning him and giving him the lifestyle he believes he somehow deserves. It's got him all up in his fee fees.

Justice Thomas Criticizes 'Nastiness and the Lies' He Faces

Oh, poor you. You and your wife embedded deep with wealthy donors and Trump operatives. Ginni, who attended the rally on 9/1 and shleps for MAGA nefariousness, and who, with your husband, have violated every modicum of ethical behavior.

Copulate off ...

Aww, did Uncle Thomas get his fee-fees hurt?

That scum should never have been sitting in Thurgood Marshall's seat. If he doesn't like it, he's welcome to either resign or die.

The article doesn't reference any actual lies being told.

Can Justice Thomas point to any actual lies?

If he doesn't like it that most of America hates him and his evil wife then resign ass***e! And yes, we really do hate him! I will not be sad when he finally kicks the bucket. I would be glad whenever any such corrupt, boght and paid for scumbag does the right thing and dies.

I do love when the left shows how racist they are when it comes to anything related to Clarence Thomas.

Not racist at all...just a fact. He is the very definition of the term.

Reminder, Thomas whined to a rich donor in the early 00s about how underpaid SC justices were. Voila he is getting free ----.

He thinks he is entitled to it.

He doesn't think of it as corrupt.

He (along with the rest of the republican corrupt justices) are doing all that they can to dismantle public corruption laws.

Please identify the systemic oppression taking place when someone calls Clarence Thomas an Uncle Tom.

Because I don't see it.
