Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, April 23, 2024

Less than a week after the arrests of more than 100 protesters at Columbia, administrators at some of the country's most influential universities were struggling, and largely failing, to calm campuses torn by the conflict in Gaza and Israel. ... "We're all a united front," said Malak Afaneh, a law student protesting at University of California, Berkeley. "This was inspired by the students at Columbia who, in my opinion, are the heart of the student movement whose bravery and solidarity with Palestine really inspired us all."

You can be for Palestine but not be for Hamas.
You can be for Israel but not be for Zionism.
You can be for America but not be for Trump.

Or you can do it the George W Bush way, the Hamas way, the Zionist way, the Trump way and the Censored way. Where that's far too subtle and nuanced, and you're either with the Palestinian terrorists or you're with the Israeli terrorists.

Mass graves, hundreds of bodies per site, naked, zip-tied and covered in human waste.

LOL, you're just repeating baseless Hamas propaganda, as is your wont.

"The officials falsely claim the dead were buried in a mass grave by Israeli forces. Despite the claims, the mass grave was not suddenly "discovered," as it has been documented that Palestinians buried their dead at the hospital grounds both before and while Israeli troops operated in the area. Generally, the IDF does not tend to the bodies of slain Palestinians in the Gaza Strip." cite.

As I posted elsewhere: "CNN is unable to verify Suleiman's claims and cannot confirm the causes of death among the bodies being unearthed." www.yahoo.com

Even CNN admits they got nothing to go on besides the words of Col. Yamen Abu Suleiman, Director of Civil Defense in Khan Younis. Now I don't know much about the Colonel, but dollars to doughnuts he has some connection to Hamas.

So yeah, CNN and Yahoo are spouting Hamas propaganda. As are you, but no surprise there.

"These kids are clueless about what they're protesting."

Agreed.

I think most would be horrified to learn that the phrase "from the river to the sea" is a call for the extirpation of the Jewish State-replaced with an Islamic theocracy not unlike the one that occupied a lot of territory just east of Israel.

I don't think they understand what they're calling for is the continuation of the work Hitler started-but was unable to finish.

But yeah. They're useful idiots. I think protest events provide a sense of community for those who are looking for it. Kinda like the Baptist churches is the deep south. It's less about the message, and more about being able to have something in common with others.

"From The River To The Sea" is a two way street.

Zionists call it Eretz Yisrael.

Look it up.

"Zionists call it Eretz Yisrael."

...and campuses are being shut down with protesters demanding that non-Jews leave the levant region that was once known as Judea...

...and of course there are the ongoing threats to Palestinian students because they originated in the "promised-land."

#13 | Posted by Brennnn at 2024-04-24 04:24 PM | Reply

I really wish every liberal that thinks being against fundamentalist Islam is a form of racism could be deported to a nice fundamentalist Islamic nation where they can enjoy the rooftop views after preaching how tolerant they are.

They can take the right wing nuts that look forward to the world ending and think God needs Israel there for a landing strip or he'll get lost with them.

I'm with E1G1 on this. How can anyone at this point support Hamas or Israel?

#14 | Posted by zeropointnrg at 2024-04-24 04:32 PM | Reply

Religious Fundamentalism is a curse upon humanity. It doesn't matter what religion they choose to adhere to. They will always oppose anyone who is different than they are and will do anything in their power to force others to conform to their oppressive lifestyle.

As a person who has seen religion destroy a nation, and terrorize the people of that nation, I can tell you there's no love from me for religion.

The issue with Israel vs Palestine is, it's not about supporting religion.

It's about supporting the freedom of Palestinians who are being oppressed by Israelis.

Give them their own country.

Did you not comprehend the words that I quoted? I'll repeat it for you and bold for to assist:

"The officials falsely claim the dead were buried in a mass grave by Israeli forces. Despite the claims, the mass grave was not suddenly "discovered," as it has been documented that Palestinians buried their dead at the hospital grounds both before and while Israeli troops operated in the area. Generally, the IDF does not tend to the bodies of slain Palestinians in the Gaza Strip." cite.

TLDR: The Palestinians bury bodies there, not the Israelis. And CNN could not verify anything that the Hamas Colonel claimed.

#19 | Posted by censored at 2024-04-24 06:29 PM | Reply

The Hamas-Lovers keep tripping overthemselves, breathless to claim Israeli war crimes. Only to let those claims quietly die once the truth comes out that it's all Hamas propaganda and BS.

So, Hamas is going to surrender, right? To end the war that they started? To protect the "innocent?" No? I'm shocked!

Guess the Palestinians should go rape and murder a couple thousand more Jewish civilians. That should do the trick.

Seriously, try to imagine a crazier, more upside-down civilization than one which gets more angry at people protesting genocidal atrocities than it does at people committing them."

Maybe, but, as seen in the CNN article above, the Palestinians are the ones who said it. What do you want from me?

They admitted they wanted a war. The only part they regret is that they are losing.

But that's how wars go. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose. Unless you're Palestinian, in which case you always lose.

Maybe they should work on the way they interact with others and not pursue warfare as their first and only option. You know, like when they fomented civil war in Jordan and tried to install a Muslim theocracy in Egypt after those nations gave them refuge? Maybe then their fellow Arabs would hate them less and not side with Israel over them.

#36 | Posted by censored at 2024-04-24 10:21 PM | Reply

"The issue with Israel vs Palestine is, it's not about supporting religion."

It sorta is. Hamas is an Islamic political organization. Thier goal is to Islamize the region. Kinda like ISIS did in much of Syria.

"It's about supporting the freedom of Palestinians who are being oppressed by Israelis."

Before they can achieve freedom from Israeli oppression, the first must be freed from Hamas oppression.

Palestinians in Gaza are in the position they are right now because of Hamas.

Do you feel like the world should stop committing "genocide," so that the Palestinians could start committing Genocide?

I mean, seriously dude, you're advocating for people who are no better than Nazis. Would you also be out there protesting if Hamas was gaining ground? Making headway in the effort to push the Jews into the sea?

Or is that just what the Jews get?

The usual gaggle of morons get their knickers in a twist over students demonstrating coming up to semester's end and demand immediate, punitive police action. It's the same rightist mindset that helped lead to a climate where the National Guards' action at Kent State could be breezily excused by "conservative" washers and wipers of morally bankrupt pols with a "got what they wanted" shrug. Pigs then, pigs today.

POTUS Benjabiden Netanyahu suggested that "more had to be done" to break up mass Gen Z protests occurring on university campuses all around America. He suggested crafting a bill in the Knesset/House of Representatives (which he would then sign into law) that would designate all American college-age Gen Z'ers as Hamas, thereby making them legitimate targets for American-made weaponry that could then be procured from America using billions that came from America via the Knesset/House of Representatives. Speaker of the Knesset and enthusiastic J6'er Mike Johnson (R-Genocide) welcomed the proposal as a unique way to remove a massive anti-Trump contingent from the 2024 voting bloc as well as a means to hastening potential apocalyptic events leading up to the promised second coming of his savior, Jesus Hitler.
