Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet US President Donald Trump in Washington on Friday to sign an agreement on sharing his country's mineral resources, Trump has said.

I'm surprised Zelensky is walking in into the lion's den. Bad idea.

Knowing how deceitful Trump is, I have my doubts about the tenuous "rich earth" story ~~ plus the fact that Trump is taking Putin's "word" that Russia won't continue to attack Ukraine. Putin's "word" means the same thing as Trump's "word." NOTHING, as both of them has proven in the past.

For days Trump has been pushing the false idea that Zelensky started the war. Using that as an excuse, Trump could just as likely have Zelensky arrested as a "war criminal" and held in prison for extradition to Russia.

What's to stop him?

Zelensky merely asked for what he had said he would ask for: some kind of security agreement with the US in case Putin does what he has done before, which is to break a Cease Fire Agreement he just signed.

This was a staged set up with Shady JD there to provide the two on one to try to force Zelensky to accept Vlad's word on a Cease Fire.

Zelinsky went up in my estimate 1000 percent. He handled himself with Honor.

Signing over half a trillion dollars in mineral rights and giving up
Their economic viability, and control of their own Sovereignty to Trump for Nothing in return but mealy mouthed platitudes and direct insults was Too much for anyone to agree to.
