Hmmm? Privatize the USPS? So delivering the mail would now be based on profit? So, the corporation that owns it would dutifully (duty to stock holders not cirizens) make decisions to increase profits like: 1. Raising the price of postage dramatically. 2. Eliminating millions of addresses that don't handle enough volume to generated enough money in postage to pay for all the salaries rents, vehicles, etc. required to deliver the mail.
Proof? Ask Jeff Bezos why Amazon relies on the USPS to deliver millions of "free delivery" packages every day? Amazon's "free deliveries" are only possible because USPS is doing most of those deliveries, and quite well BTW. If the Prime delivery drivers had to find every address as the USPS does, every day, "free delivery" would disappear from our consciousness.
Americans need to wake up! Ego Musk is not trying to save tax dollars, he's trying to eliminate government services or privatize them. If there is no profit then they will eliminste it. Do you have any idea how many old people are living in assisted living homes paid for by Medicaid? So, when that egomaniac slashes Medicaid he'll be dumping elderly people with nowhere else to go into the street. And don't blame their kids who are struggling to pay their rent on a one bedroom apartment. Blame "the richest nan in the world" who thinks he has to pay too much in taxes or, more accurately, Vladimir Putin, who wants to destroy our living standard because, just like successful Ukraine, it creates jealousy and then unrest, in Russia.
