Governor Andy Beshear (D-Kentucky) on Kristi Noem's call to eliminate FEMA: "The states cannot do what FEMA does without duplicating certain tasks 50 times over. If you've got an operation that's running well, work with it, improve it, don't eliminate it."

Ain't this a kick in the head, Red States? And besides helping you Republicans recover from flooding, hurricanes, and tornados, which there will be more of, FEMA has a national civil defense (CD) role in the event of a debilitating attack on the US. Thank you Republican voters, you shot your own noibles off: www.vaemergency.gov

All the hillbillies in western NC depending on FEMA after Helene are about to learn a hard lesson.

Will Kristi Noem acquire another dog she can teach to love her so that she can shoot it in the head?

Here in Okiehomie, where we average a tornado every other day from Mid-April through the end of June, the Red Hat Mob will sooner or later wonder where the hell the cavalry is after some town gets blown away or a wildfire burns another 300 homes, but this time in suburban OKC or Tulsa. There are certainly about 50 governors who cursed Disaster Dosplay Barbie when she made this announcement. Just wait for a year until some hurricane comes ashore at the corner of South Ocean Boulevard and Southern Boulevard, in Palm Beach, Florida. The Dog Harvester will be singing a different tune...

Taking from the poor and powerless so the rich have it all...it is the mantra of the Trump misadministration, all the way down to disaster relief for those devastated by natural disasters.

If one's goal was to weaken this country to the point of being pulled off the world influence stage, this is exactly the kind of s^*% you would do.

That it's being done by a piece of worthless Visitor like Noem is just salt rubbed in the wound.

JPW-the United States (or should we call it "Disunited States) has already left the stage.

Noem, whose department oversees the Federal Emergency Management Agency, has previously vowed to "get rid of FEMA the way it exists today

That's what getting rid of something means.

Getting rid of it, the way it is today. Not the way it was yesterday or tomorrow.

"and virtually nothing to NC."

Governor Roy Cooper and President Joe Biden hold a briefing on Helene's impacts at the State Emergency Operations Center following an aerial tour of areas damaged by the hurricane. During the briefing, President Biden announced the approval of 100% FEMA Reimbursement for six months, a significant funding commitment from the federal government.

I have an old high school buddy that just has real bad luck. First, he had a really bad heart attack and then his 21 year old so was killed by some ------- driving his giant truck through a stop sign. My buddy divorced his fat wife, who never helped make any money for them and use to abuse him all the time, and he bought a big truck and moved to Ohio to work for FEMA to serve people during disasters with food and water. He was a big time TRumpanzee and so this just might be the end of his only hopes and dreams to reboot his life. Even his heroes let him down.

Trump has appointed a Cabinet of lunatics who share one thing in common; their loyalty to him is more important than their loyalty to the Comstitution or the nation.
