U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday called for China to prevent Iran from closing the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important trade routes for crude oil in the world. "I encourage the Chinese government in Beijing to call them about that, because they heavily depend on the Straits of Hormuz for their oil," Rubio said in an interview on Fox News. China is Iran's most important oil customer and maintains friendly relations with the Islamic Republic.

These MAGAts really are stupid. First, they attack China through Tariffs. Now, because they were too stupid to negotiate with Iran or plan post-bombing of Iran, they are having to go hat in hand to China and BEG them to not let Iran close the Strait of Hormuz. Why? Because closing the Strait could drive oil prices over $100 a barrel. The President of Peace is such an idiot.

... U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday called for China to prevent Iran from closing the Strait of Hormuz ...

China is probably more likely to be looking at Taiwan currently with Pres Trump's "preemptive strike" concept in mind.

Speaking of Sec Rubio ....

When Pres Trump was stepping up to the podium to announce the bombings of Iran, both Sec Rubio and Sec Hegseth were on Pres Trump left side, but Sec Rubio looked to be closer to Pres Trump. Sec Hegseth may not have liked that and it looked like he tried to push his way in between Sec Rubio and Pres Trump. Sec Rubio apparently would have nothing of that. ...

@#3 ... Two Supertankers U-Turn in Strait of Hormuz After US Strikes ...

imo, closing the Strait of Hormuz is an action of last resort for Iran.

What do I base that opinion upon?

Absolutely nothing.

But, if such an action by Iran seems to be a most feared action, then why waste it so early in the war with the US?

Or maybe Iran might do a "shock and awe" moment in the war with the US?

I wish I knew.

I remember the "Tanker Wars". When was that? The Iran-Iraq war back in the '80s?

Suddenly, Dummkopf Trumpf cares about the US economy that he has been methodically destroying piece by piece? Since when?
