China is probably more likely to be looking at Taiwan currently with Pres Trump's "preemptive strike" concept in mind.

Speaking of Sec Rubio ....
When Pres Trump was stepping up to the podium to announce the bombings of Iran, both Sec Rubio and Sec Hegseth were on Pres Trump left side, but Sec Rubio looked to be closer to Pres Trump. Sec Hegseth may not have liked that and it looked like he tried to push his way in between Sec Rubio and Pres Trump. Sec Rubio apparently would have nothing of that. ...

@#3 ... Two Supertankers U-Turn in Strait of Hormuz After US Strikes ...
imo, closing the Strait of Hormuz is an action of last resort for Iran.
What do I base that opinion upon?
Absolutely nothing.
But, if such an action by Iran seems to be a most feared action, then why waste it so early in the war with the US?
Or maybe Iran might do a "shock and awe" moment in the war with the US?
I wish I knew.

I remember the "Tanker Wars". When was that? The Iran-Iraq war back in the '80s?

China, Iran, and Russia have long-term relationships and alliances.
What does the US have to offer them?

Unfortunately on the west side it is Redial, though it looks possible to pick ones way through the valleys down to sea level and out the other side. Had it been done after the tanker wars, it would be one less threat for Iran to make.

It's easier and cheaper just to bomb Iran continuously forever.

Wonder if closing the Straits is why there's suddenly a "Ceasefire" between Iran and Israel?
Gas prices going way up in the US would get his declining attention span... he was yelling Drill Baby Drill again just last night.

#21 Then why have the Dems suddenly abandoned their Taco comments? Sad when Liberals like you were hoping for a failed mission in Iran and are still hoping for repercussions with the loss of American troops.

Stop getting your info on "what liberals think" from the same people who told you the 2020 election was stolen and obama had a fake birth certificate.
The only thing liberals are hoping for is that you morons will finally wake up and realize trump is conning you. Maybe read what the tax bill will do to you so that the rich can get tax cuts.

What TACO comments?
I don't recall Little Marco Rubio saying "Trump Ask China Open" the Strait of Hormuz.

China won't get involved in any of this except as possible intermediaries for a peace deal.

Trump was kind enough to make my tax cuts permanent.
Yours expired because you don't matter.
But don't worry, they might extend yours but I'll get an even BIGGER tax cut...while you lose healthcare and other services.
