... The latest Gallup poll found 37 percent of U.S. adults say they approve of the president's performance in office " down from 40 percent in June, 43 percent in May and 44 percent in April.

Trump's overall approval rating is also down 10 points since taking office in January.

The decline in job approval rating is most acute among independents " 29 percent of whom say they approve of Trump's handling of the job in the latest survey. That's down 7 points since June and down 17 points since January, the survey revealed.

Trump began his term with 46 percent approval among independents, but that dropped to the mid-30s for the past several months, before dipping into the high-20s in the July poll. ...

He doesn't care. He bought the Supreme Court and Congress is run by (the party formerly known as the GOP) who are NOTHING but servile dogs, needing bribery money to stay on the government teat.

Once the American People see the nightly news footage of millions of people in camps, the numbers will skyrocket.

He's going to fix this by showing "crooked" Hillary's huzbun... Bill Clinton... who hasn't been president in 25 years... is on Epstein's list... just you watch.... that will turn everything around... I can't wait. Hurry hurry hurry...

RIGHT/TRITE

Bill and Hillary are just retreads.

There aren't many people left whom Trump hasn't tried to scapegoat for his problems. He's tried to have Biden arrested and now he wants to have Obama tried for treason.

Daylight's aburnin'.

Pam Bondi better get on the ball before he starts to fantasize that his own DOJ is trying to sabotage his meteoric assertion to King of the World.

Mr. Putin is not a happy camper these days. Trump stabbed him in the back so if there's any retaliation going on, my guess is that Mr. Putin has a few things in his own mind that will resolve all of Trump's problems ... like permanently.

One wonders how one can have voted for Trump twice, and then somehow noticed something different this term than last. He is, was , will always be the grifting danger to our democracy he presented on Jan 6.

Wow - this is embarrassing...for Gallup.

The RCP average is 45.4% with a standard deviation of 2.42. This means that the Gallup's 37% - while already the lowest (by far) of any of the polls in the RCP average - is a total statistical outlier in that it would be in the lower 0.4% observations in the lower tail.

They are really trying their best to burn their last shred of credibility.

SCOTTS

I wouldn't count on Trump's poll numbers going up. Desperation is a terrible driver and he's sweating bullets over the Epstein files. He's going to make a lot of dumb mistakes.

Whether it's because he is guilty or because the file contains Epstein's client list of who and when they engaged in dalliances with underage girls it almost doesn't matter at this point.

Either way, all of GOP will erupt like Mt. Vesuvius and likely implode before our very eyes. It's also very likely that every Trump appointment or executive order or donation he received or decision he made will be called into question as having been made by the deranged minds of cohorts of Epstein's sex trafficking operation.

I can understand why Trump and his associates want this to go away. If it ever gets out, it's going to be a mess of assumptions, suspicions, doubts and capitalizing.

Trump'll always have his faithful 36% in his ample back pocket. That's the percentage of voters he always gets.

Wow, and this time it didn't even take a once in a lifetime pandemic and the deaths of over a million Americans thanks to his gross mismanagement to sink him in the polls.

I can't decide, since they refer to the Democratic Party as the "Democrat Party," whether we should refer to their party as the Rapeublicans or the Gross Old Pedophiles, as both seem to fit. They are the party of Pedophiles and pedophile supporters and defenders.

All the video evidence that the orange diaper sniper was best friends with Epstine, partying, leering, and manhandling young women IN PUBLIC, photos of him and Epstine surrounded by young teen girls, in at least one photo Dotard has his hand on a young girl's thigh, comments ON THE RADIO about trying to catch Miss USA and Miss Teen USA contestants naked when he barged in to their dressing rooms, the comment on Howard Stern's show that 12 years old was his lower limit, all the photos of him touching teenage Ivanka inappropriately in public, the comments to multiple of his sexual assault survivors that they reminded him of his daughter, he even told Karen McDougall, after sex, that SHE reminded him of Ivanka, comments he made to John Kelly, a former supporter about Ivanka's body what she would be like in the sack, to the point that Kelly told him it was inappropriate, that he ran a "modeling company" or was it an out-call service, where rich men could book the young women and girls to attend all-male parties, was Dotard their pimp? IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN OUT THERE!!!!, He was likely Epstine's partner which is why he is suffering a rapid unscheduled disassembly in public!

That's a lot of them for sure. Maybe even the majority. But I'd suggest listening to Eberly, who says lots of Republicans are with Melania on this: They really don't care.

They're apathetic to the fact that powerful men prey on the young. It's kind of just the way the world is, and always has been.

One of the most depressing and disturbingly true statements I've ever read for just so many reasons.

Another view ...

It's a year of rapid change, except when it comes to Trump's approval numbers, AP-NORC polling finds
apnews.com

... Eric Hildenbrand has noticed prices continue to rise this year, even with President Donald Trump in the White House. He doesn't blame Trump, his choice for president in 2024, but says Gov. Gavin Newsom and other Democrats who control his home state, California, are at fault.

"You can't compare California with the rest of the country," said Hildenbrand, who is 76 and lives in San Diego. "I don't know what's going on in the rest of the country. It seems like prices are dropping. Things are getting better, but I don't necessarily see it here."

Voters like Hildenbrand, whose support of the Republican president is unwavering, help explain Trump's polling numbers and how they have differed from other presidents' polling trajectory in significant ways. An Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll conducted in March found that 42% of U.S. adults approved of Trump's job performance. That is a lower rating than those of other recent presidents at the beginning of their second terms, including Democrat Barack Obama and Republican George W. Bush. ...

Right, but what I don't get is why the Dem controlled CIA and FBI featuring Clapper, Comey and Brennon didn't expose this when they had control of the files. Would have been alot easier than creating the Russian Hoax, trying to bankrupt him, trying to jail him, and when none of that worked, trying to assassinate him. Help us out there Sh-tslinger. .

Trump's poll numbers haven't bottomed out yet. Wait until after the midterms and the effect of Trump's cuts to Medicare start to kick in. I suspect his remaining supporters will look at themselves in the mirror and quietly ask, "How could I have been so blind."

Right now you can bet on the fact that Trump's staff is working on ways to control the voting in swing states. Monkey see/monkey do gerrymandering, for example, is already under way in a few red states.

By hook or by crook Trump will not let any rock go unturned.

Get over it': some middle America Trump supporters remain unfazed over Epstein files tumult

That was the prevailing mood this week in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a former steel town and Democratic stronghold that swung heavily for Trump in last November's election.

"Trump is right about everything, no matter what he does," was the blunt take of Teddy, 55, wearing a Stars and Stripes hat and sitting on a bench in Central Park in downtown Johnstown. "Epstein " he's dead, that's it, it's over."

Trump has morals " it may not seem like he does, but deep down he does
