When we were experiencing wage growth and it was good news ... ... I reminded everyone this will be soon forgotten when inflation outpaces it.

Wage growth is good but inflation does what it does.

Inflation Outpacing Wage Growth for over 40% of Americans

And everything the Trump administration has done in the past 7 months is exacerbating this.

It would be really great if Democrats/Liberals ever actually told the truth - you know, we have this data straight from the BLS:

Month Inf Wages Non-Sup
June 0.20% 0.20% 0.30%
May 0.10% 0.40% 0.40%
Apri 0.20% 0.20% 0.30%
Mar 0.10% 0.30% 0.20%
Feb 0.20% 0.30% 0.30%

Inflation = Core inflation
Wages = all wages (all employer classes)
Non-sup = wages for non-supervisor positions and production positions

So, basically, the 'poorest' are the ones that are benefitting the most from Trump's policies. Rather than getting killed by Bidenflation, they are make REAL WAGE GAINS.

Since, Feb, they have see a real wage increase of (Wage Growth - Inflation) of .7%, or 1.7% annualized.

This is exactly what the country needs. Also, those low/unskilled workers are benefiting the most because WE ARE KICKING OUT THE ILLEGALS.

Also, maybe explain why your current alias used "core inflation" in its comparison, which excludes price increases for food.

Lyrics excerpt ...

...
He made the night a little brighter
Wherever he would go
The old lamplighter
Of long, long ago

His snowy hair was so much whiter
Beneath the candle glow
The old lamplighter
Of long, long ago

You'd hear the patter of his feet
As he came toddling down the street
His smile would hide a lonely heart you see
If there were sweethearts in the park
He'd pass a lamp and leave it dark
Remembering the days that used to be

For he recalls when dreams were new
He loves someone who loves him too
Who walks with him alone in memory

He made the night a little brighter
Wherever he would go
The old lamplighter of long, long ago

Because the article states that inflation is higher than the wage growth for 40% which would imply the remainder, 60%, have wage gains outpacing inflation - 60% would be 'most'

How ---- dumb are you?

Here is the part of the cited article that caught my attention..;

...As "jobs at the low-to-middle end of the pay spectrum" are likely feeling the crunch of reduced purchasing power, wages of higher-paying jobs have typically grown the fastest in the past year, though Indeed notes annual growth among those jobs have receded in recent months....

#29 | Posted by LampLighter at 2025-07-28 02:55 AM | Reply

So, the higher-end jobs may be OK?

More from the cited article ...

...Overall wage growth remains "healthy and above inflation," Indeed noted, even though many low- and middle-wage jobs have experienced pay increases at or below the pace of inflation.

What Kinds Of Jobs Have The Fastest-Growing Wage Growth Since Last Year?

Jobs in electrical engineering topped Indeed's list of fastest-growing wages with a "much higher-than-average annual advertised pay growth of 6.3%" Wage growth of electrical engineering jobs was followed by legal (5.1%), marketing (5.1%), project management (4.6%), mathematics (4.5%) and IT operations (4.4%).

However, based on BLS statistics, Biden had real wages decrease over his 4 years - quite the accomplishment. This points isn't up for debate - the stats are the stats.

blah blah blah
psssssssssstttttt Biden isn't preznit... Trumpanzee is... he said he was going to fix it... he never intended to... doesn't care.... doesn't affect him... he humped your leg for your vote.

It isn't going to be fixed until the poor rise up against the oligarchs... same as always... nasty bloodshed... public executions... either that or a devastating pandemic... some natural disaster to level the playing field.

It's a simple matter of slaughtering enough ricos in horrible horrible ways... to get their attention... You name a major war... conflict... military whatever where that isn't the root cause. It's fine as long as the empire expands... but eventually... after spending copious fortunes on military might but losing war after war... like we've done for the last 80 years... the fat cats start eating their own...

so here we are

Seriously the cl0wnbrigade elected a preznit who wears makeup over his countless facelifts... foofs his surgically remapped hair... lies about his height and weight... with a third foreign-born wife whose face is botoxed into expressionless submission. It' ironic he went after transexuals when he is nothing of not a pathetic over medicated example of someone demanding gender affirmation.

He does weird things like buy 6000 eggs to boil and throw away on easter while the rabble on the ground was paying $12 a dozen to use for meals and buying plastic eggs for the kid's baskets.

There are rumors he's incontinent and foul-smelling... but no one says anything... very much like autocrats of days gone by.

We are obviously in the "powdered wig: stage of our empire. Avarice is king.

feck stats.

In 5 months, Trump has given you a 0.7% real wage increase. In 4 years of Biden, he delivered -1%.

Not exactly correct:

"U.S. inflation rate versus wage growth 2020-2025
Published by Abigail Tierney May 8, 2025
In March 2025, inflation amounted to 2.4 percent, while wages grew by 4.3 percent. The inflation rate has not exceeded the rate of wage growth since January 2023.

www.statista.com"

January 2023: essentially half of former President Biden's four year term.
Given that the US economy doesn't change in an instant, one could reasonably deduce from the graph that the current situation is more a result of the previous administration's policies than anything the current administration has done.
