That's really the better question....Do Texas republicans care if California removes their own handcuffs and engages in similar behavior?

California isn't at risk of power changing hands. Apparently Texas is.....so that's the difference here......that and I really doubt Texans care one bit what the California legislature or governor does.

Blue states are already more gerrymandered than the red ones.

The gerrymander in California is outrageous. Of their 52 congressional districts, nine of them are Republican. That means 17 percent of their delegation is Republican when Republicans regularly win 40 percent of the vote in that state. How can this be possibly allowed?
