President Donald Trump says data showing crime decreasing in Washington, D.C., is fake and has a novel way to fix it: releasing his own crime statistics.

The stats showing a huge decline in violent crime and homicide in D.C. last year were put out just the other day by the FBI, which is run by Kash Patel.

Isn't DC the white collar crime capital of the world?

The worst part is that the fake stats will be impossible to tell apart from the real thing!

This entire DC bull**** is because there are homeless people on the route to his golf course in VA.

Trump Planned D.C. Takeover Because He Hated Route to His Golf Course

Trump doesn't really care about D.C. He just cares about things looking nice as he goes to play golf.

President Trump's takeover of Washington, D.C., was directly inspired by the homeless people he saw from his motorcade window on the way to his golf course.

"We're having a News Conference tomorrow in the White House. I'm going to make our Capital safer and more beautiful than it ever was before. The Homeless have to move out, IMMEDIATELY. We will give you places to stay, but FAR from the Capital," Trump wrote Sunday on Truth Social, attaching four pictures to his post.

Two of the photos showed a total of about 10 tents on the side of the road near a highway ramp The Guardian identified as about a mile from the White House. One picture showed a person sleeping on the steps of the American Institute of Pharmacy Building on Constitution Avenue. And another was a picture of some trash in the E Street Expressway by the Kennedy Center.

This is the route the president takes to his frequent outings to his Trump National Golf Club in Virginia.

When one is born into such a privileged culture, one can isolate oneself behind a wall of power and wealth, but that is not where reason lies, that is inevitably going to create people who see themselves as the chosen ones.

How about someone who actually knows about the DC crime problem - unlike the above posters.

That's the perfect quote.

I will be using this for the next four years.

Or until such time as I am sent to the camps.

I watched that entire interview.
NOWHERE does the former Chief of Police say crime has dramatically increased in D.C.
In fact he doesn't mention incraese in crime in D.C. at all.

The only thing he said relevant to this is D.C. cut their police force from 3800 to 3100 officers, which he thought was not enough officers.
However, the former Chief also pointed out that Trump said 3100 officers is a lot.

Snoofy - It's a great quote, but it isn't correctly attributed. Not to mention 1932 is problematic. That quote isn't HItler's.

The quotation you provided: "The streets of our country are in turmoil. The Universities are filled with students rebelling and rioting. Communists are seeking to destroy our country. ... Without law and order our nation can not survive," is often attributed to Adolf Hitler in 1932.
However, this is a misattribution. Research indicates that the quote is spurious and likely emerged in the United States around the late 1960s or early 1970s, during a period of significant social and political unrest marked by student protests and the Vietnam War era.
The quote was used by some at the time to draw comparisons between the societal anxieties of the era and the rise of authoritarian regimes.

#21 - It is so understandable, though. A trip down the historic lane - which some may find fascinating, especially in today's context:

history.state.gov

You'll find the quote there, attributed to Hitler, and stated as known by "most students today".
It was highly likely not true that Hitler ever said it as there is no record of Hitler ever saying it.

But damn, doesn't it ring true today as it did in 1970!

There is a TON of Federal gov't data that is freely open to the public. Weather data, hurricane forecasts, soil moisture reports, financial data, health data, and more than can be reasonably in a DR post.

It's just that very few know how to use some it, and the rest of public doesn't care, until they hear buzz words and catch phrases, or some calamity.

Then they care, but they rely on the few who use the data to interpret it for them, and buzz words are much easier to understand than boring statistics and actual facts.

That's sad, but I digress.

The point (finally, I know) is that gov't data is made public so the public can make informed, meaningful decisions, and stay safe.

Gov't data is not for GOPers to play out their fantasy of violence towards the half of the population that didn't vote for Trump.

It's pathetic that GOP voters are too stupid to realize this. But, they would sure as heck realize it if it was the Dems!

But they'd rather ride Trump's tiny ----.
