Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, August 22, 2025

Federal agents raided the Washington-area home of President Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton on Friday morning. FBI Director Kash Patel wrote "NO ONE is above the law ... @FBI agents on mission" in a post on X at 7 a.m., shortly before the New York Post broke the news of the raid. An FBI official and a source familiar confirmed the search to News Nation, The Hill's sister network. Bolton was not detained and has not been charged with any crimes, The Associated Press reported. The search is related to classified documents, two sources told NewsNation. Bolton's home is in Bethesda, Md., outside Washington D.C.

Does this have any thing to do with the fact that the-------------'s name is all over the Epstein Files?

More actual lawfare.

Hey dips*^%s, when are you going to speak out against the abuse of federal law enforcement to target critics?

Bolton is widely considered a foreign policy hawk and advocates military action and regime change by the U.S. in Iran, Syria, Libya, Venezuela, Cuba, Yemen, and North Korea.[14][15][8][16] A member of the Republican Party, his political views have been described as American nationalist,[17][18] conservative,[19][20][21][22] and neoconservative,[23] although Bolton rejects the last term.[24][25][26] He is a former senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI)[27] and a Fox News Channel commentator. He was a foreign policy adviser to 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.[28]

couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

That traitor had a chance to do what was best for the nation and instead chose to write a book.

He is getting what he deserves.

This is the full out weaponization of the FBI, DOJ, etc.
This is the incarnation of the PROJECTION we've heard for years from the GOP and Trump.
When you hear Trump of the GOP accuse Democrats of something evil, something nefarious - you can be damned sure the Democrats aren't doing it, and the GOP/Trump are going to do it.
Weaponization of our Government against all critics is exactly what I expected.

If we don't fight this shht, it's over for this nation. We're already well on our way to being another s-hole nation like Hungary, or Russia, or El Salvador, etc.

I hope we actually have real elections in 2026, but I am worried it will be way too late by then to do anything to stop this rot.

Absolute nonsense from an abysmally stupid pile of s*&^.

Lumpers have no idea how their actions create consequences. This sort of thing happens over and over. They just don't understand second order effects.

I saw a video in University. John Mbiti's concept of African time, which says that the future is not abstract or infinite but is tied to experienced events, making the distant future less significant than the past and present. Its the absence of an abstract, distant future. It suggests that the future is an open possibility, where future events will take place, but which is not known or conceived in advance. IOW They can't understand the future.

This is todays Lumper in a nut shell.

It would be ironic if it wasn't so damning for the country.

The lawsuit filed in June 2020 alleged that Ellen Knight, the senior director for records access at the National Security Council, found "significant amounts of classified information" including some classified as "TOP SECRET," in the $2 million book while reviewing it for publication.

But the lawsuit alleged that Bolton was frustrated with the pace of the review and chose to publish before waiting for it to be completed, despite having signed classified nondisclosure agreements.

Defendant Attempted to Trick Voters Into Believing They Could Vote By Text Message
Douglass Mackey, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Ann M. Donnelly to 7 months in prison for his role in a conspiracy to interfere with potential voters' right to vote in the 2016 election for the Office of the President of the United States. Douglass Mackey, also known as "Ricky Vaughn," was previously convicted of the charge of Conspiracy Against Rights at trial by a federal jury in Brooklyn. Mackey was convicted of the charge in March 2023 following a three-week trial.

You're not capable of discourse, civil or otherwise. You're not an expert in anything. You have nothing original to say. You have no interesting points of view to share.

You can't formulate an argument from base principles. You can't perform a trade-off analysis. You never wonder about what the best path forward might be.

Did I miss anything?

"What happened in Bolton's bedroom between the two naked men is their own business."

This is where you called them gay.

You need that resolution and release that comes from giving voice to your repressed psyche.

What you've done to yourself is cause yourself to always live in fear that your repressed thoughts might surface at the wrong time.

Men like you build a culture of constantly "joking" about homosexuality because you're always thinking about your own homosexuality.

It's called Reaction Formation.

I hope you enjoyed the civil discourse.
