Army National Guard Soldiers on Trash Duty in Wash DC

A full busload of National Guard members were seen Tuesday morning picking up trash around Lafayette Park, just outside of the White House. It's part of a "beautification and restoration mission," according to the military office overseeing the soldiers and airman activated to help respond and deter crime as part of the federal government "DC Takeover." 110 Army National Guard members were picking up trash Tuesday at Lafayette Square, the National Mall, and the Tidal Basin. "We are committed to keeping DC safe and beautiful," said the official.

The Trumpf junta is masterful at wasting money, time, and resources. Many National Guardsmen are employed in far more efficient and rewarding civilian careers. The Republican governors who are sending their Guardsmen to Washington DC should reconsider deploying them after seeing this egregious and demeaning use of soldiers. The American taxpayer money wasted on the DC occupation could feed and house hundreds, if not thousands, of poor people for weeks.

Dummkopf Trumpf is edging the US into martial law and he's following Vladimir Putin's orders to a 'T.' Impoverish and anger the proletariat who will protest, then institute martial law (first in the Blue States, then Red). SCOTUS and the toothless Congress will let it happen.

Donald Trumpf Junior called Portland and Seattle "craphole cities" and wants a federal takeover of their police forces. The Trumpf junta doesn't try and disguise their intent on using the military and ICE to keeping Republicans and oligarchs in power long after 2028.

Shows you the level of respect the administration has for service members. Taking them away from their real jobs and their families to make them pick up trash in DC.

SPD is about as racist as they come in terms of city cops. So it's kind of funny that they're not racist enough for Trump.

In the US Army this known as a "police call", and standard for soldiers, they have all sorts of jobs.

Your fake outrage, and lack of knowledge and curiosity is what is disrespectful to the military.
