I don't really see a problem with this.

It seems to test the driver's ability to do their job properly.

Worse?

I laughed.

I cried.

I came.

I went.

As for truck drivers?

As soon as corporations figure out how to rig their trucks with drivers in the Philippines, aka self driving vehicles, all these jobs will be gone.

Better hurry up and sign up for ICE.

Thats because you don't understand the problem, why wasn't this originally part of the drivers certification to do their job.

Even pilots in US need to have to english proficiency.

I think @#3 | POSTED BY LAMPLIGHTER was agreeing with the new rules. Which makes me wonder if you're just quick to an argument, or someone needs to check your proficiency in reading.

" Which makes me wonder if you're just quick to an argument, "

Are you new around here? I sometimes will make the most benign comment imaginable and yet people want to argue with me about it.

Are you new around here? I'm a borderline Hall of Fame troll. I easily elicit multiple responses with a single post. And it doesn't take any effort.

I got jalapeno oils on my balls one time while cooking. I shoved my junk into a container of yogurt. Worked really well. Put the yogurt back in the fridge.

Good luck with that, scumbags. Driver tests are given by the states, and I can't see California doing something this bigoted. Definitely can't see New Mexico doing it, and at this point I'd be shocked if Arizona did it.

It's funny to see the party of State's Rights now become the party of Lick the Federal Boot.

"I can't see California doing something this bigoted."

It is very sad that liberals now despise basic laws of communication for a society to function. I don't think there is one ill in our entire reality that liberals will not call bigoted when it suits their purpose.

Wait, you stubbed your toe? That's because America is bigoted. You ate a triple quarter pounder with extra cheese and bacon and you got fat. Oh damn, that's a result of American bigotry. You have a different opinion than me? That means you are bigoted.

Victimhood is all liberals know today. I can't wait until that party is full of adults again so I can root for them, having to support Cons against those children is very draining and really pisses me off the Dem party has come to this.

Downplaying the obvious bigotry of the far right white nationalist movement under Trump and Heritage Foundation Project25 policies is... quite bigoted, really.

No one is forcing the average person to have to know english.

But there are jobs that require communication between participants. If you don't, you have that you have chaos.

In Mexico you're required to learn English to be a pilot.

Truck drivers are expected to be able to communicate at weigh stations and checkpoints.

This is perfectly reasonable.

porky, the person defending the term "Master" of a white politician running against a black woman, claiming someone is bigoted is the pot calling the kettle black.

In every single country I have lived in, I had to learn the language, 4 as of now. What is the problem with this? And, English IS the Universal language. Going to have to, gulp, side with the Right on this one.
