They should. Their army can do nothing against the Marines except take ballistic missile pot shots at them.

While I do agree Iran's ground forces are feeble against the US Marines, providing Pres trump is actually listening to his Generals about the Marine deployment.
That aside, I still have some questions...
For starters, Pres Trump has said he already won this war. So, why is he still fighting a war he won?
OK,I'll start there...

As I noted in my #1 comment.

So, my view is that the Marines are up to the task, but they seem to be held back (OK, weakened) by how they are deployed by the Commander in Chief.
imo, it is not about the level of force, but how the force is or is not deployed.

All Lewzer knows about Marines is he will need a bunch for July 4... the biggest celebration of himself in history.

Ask the politicians. The only way to combat guerilla warfare is to treat the entire population as the enemy. Ruthless, but the only way to win.

Sounds like a lesson the US may have learned in Vietnam back in the day.

We don't know who's actually in charge. There's a power struggle going on between the IGRC, clerics, and politicians.

It should read "I want you to kick Islamic ass". That would be a more effective recruiting slogan.
