"IDF soldiers cheered in celebration and congratulated one another after they attacked a vehicle of Palestinians driving near the Israeli-controlled part of the Gaza Strip, killing everyone inside."

~snip~

US-subsidized munitions continue killing Palestinians-- the Gaza death toll is now 72,987 human beings; 20,179 were children. The IDF have wounded or maimed 172,927 Palestinians since 7 Oct 2023.

Dummkopf Trumpf's "BBB" recently knocked out 700,000 hungry American children from receiving SNAP benefits, but the US has billions of dollars to send Israel, a country that offers world class universal healthcare for its people.

In 2025 alone, the peace-loving hardworking American taxpayer sent wealthy, nuclear-armed Israel $12 billion in military funding to murder Palestinian children; that amount could have instead paid for 1,982,488 American families with one year's free groceries.

US midterm elections are scheduled for Tuesday 3 Nov 2026.

"US midterm elections are scheduled for Tuesday 3 Nov 2026."

Five scant months away and still so many have not learned.

Pigheaded boomer democrats, who have long outlived their usefulness- they still can't admit to years and years of enabling the various forces that helped fuel the rise of Trump not once, but twice. They continue to desperately cling to their 2020 game-plan, not fully realizing that very game-plan (read: "LAME-PLAN") guaranteed Trump the presidency just 4 years later. They seek nothing more than to preserve hoary liberal norms and institutions while turning tail and running from any sort of direct challenge to increasingly concentrated wealth, the out-of-control security state, continued fealty to Israel, and the ponderous, corporate power structure that continues to shape not only the GOP and its idiot-brained MAGA base, but their party and lock-step adherents as well.

"One of the most surprising statistics from the 2024 presidential election was the surge of support President Trump received from Gen Z voters.

While these voters, born between 1997 and 2012, turned out in fewer numbers across all demographics in 2024 as compared to 2020, their voting preferences shifted to the right."

As a rule, sure. It's surprising that young people would go conservative.

But what's happening in this moment in history is not that young people are going conservative.

What's happening is the GOP is achieving its Final Form as a fascist party, which appeals to disaffected young men even more than conservatism. The ones Obama talked about who cling to guns and their religion. The Kyle Rittenhouse volunteers.

It's not the same vision of America that Reagan was selling in 1980.

Yes, we believe it died.

The one you're in is... different.

The GOP must take some stock in this 'death by demographics' thing or they wouldn't be redistricting up the wazoo, but talking about that part of reality is boring.

Yes, it is eerily similar to those young attention-starved girls of the late 60s (such as Lulu Van Houten and Katie Krenwinkle and Sadie Atkins) gravitating to short, smelly, long-haired hippies with rampant STDs and Hitler fixations.

Oh, I don't doubt that.
In my experience, that's the hallmark of the racist, the bigot, the transphobe.

Anything you can't trace back to blacks, gays, trans - to the notion of tolerance in general -- that you find repellant in the Democratic messaging?

Like tolerating illegal immigrants who aren't committing crimes, like over 75% of the people in ICE detention. People think it's repellant to tolerate them, they are the bigots I'm talking about.

If you're talking about something else, lay it on me.

Otherwise, I think we can simply recognize what you are saying as code-words for bigotry and racism. Do you agree?
