Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Good-for-nothing House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) bleated this confession in a podcast:

  • "The largest spending items, the reason we're in trouble is because over 74 percent of federal spending is on autopilot-- mandatory spending, that is your entitlement programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and things like Social Security-- they have to be adjusted and fixed. We have a plan to do that next year, and it's critical, because we're at $40 trillion plus in debt because of Dummkopf Trumpf's Big Beautiful Bill and the unconstitutional and expensive war against Iran that we're fighting on Israel's behalf. At some point you get into a hole so deep you can't climb out of it, so desperate times call for desperate measures, which will of course affect America's poor, sick, elderly, and vulnerable, and not the super-wealthy."

The hardworking American taxpayer is two and half galaxies away from having universal healthcare, like enjoyed by the residents of Israel, Germany, Canada, Cuba, tiny Albania, Taiwan, Greenland, and in 2027, Mexico.

    Sources:

Cost to American taxpayers of attacking Iran on behalf of Israel

The next generation of Americans will pay for the BBB and Dummkopf Trumpf's subservience to Bibi

"We'll be just fine, but thanks for asking!"

Is this aiming for satire and failing, or is it deliberately trying to be self-sabotaging satire by mixing a real quote with a fake one? It looks a lot like the latter.

It will be satire when Eberly shows up to reassure us Republicans wouldn't really overturn Roe v Wade.

The goal of the GOP for the past 50 years has been to kill social security and medicare.

They are perfectly fine with people who are 85 years old and having to go to work.

Hell that fraud Oz said people should be happy to work until they drop dead to pay down the debt the Epstein class created.

SS has been cannabalized to enable more tax cuts for millionaires.

Just 5 yrs ago SS trust fund was solvent and independently funded.

Slash the benefits until the national debt is repaid.

    Problem solved.

Boomers ran it up. Let them suffer it.

The ones than ran it up aren't the ones who are suffering.

And Gen Blaming is counter-productive... and can easily be spread around:

"Data from exit polls following the 2024 presidential election provides insights into how different generations cast their ballots.

Exit poll data indicates the following general trends:Generation X (Ages 45"64):
This generation showed strong support for Donald Trump.

Baby Boomers & Silent Generation (Ages 65+): Older voters were closely divided between the candidates.

Millennials (Ages 30"44): This group leaned slightly away from Donald Trump

.Generation Z (Ages 18"29): Younger voters generally favored Kamala Harris, but there were shifts compared to previous elections."
